The drive through line is wrapping around the building due to not being able to go inside to order. To be expected. However, they do not have customers pull forward/to the side when their order is not ready so that holds the line up tremendously. Very poorly executed. We finally make it to the front of the line and hand over a $50 bill for an $8 order. The employee takes it and begins talking to her coworker. Now, maybe this was about work but after sitting in line for 30 minutes to watch the employee stand there holding our money with our order ready on the counter instead of getting our change and handing us our order was frustrating. Once the employee finally realizes they have our money and gets us change they didnât âsee the right numberâ on our bill and short changed us. So we had to wait longer for a manager to get our change out. Eventually we got our correct change and they handed us our blizzards in an abnormal fashion. They had lids on the blizzards and did NOT flip them upside down. We went and parked in their parking lot to eat. As soon as the lid popped loose the blizzard spilled everywhere in the car. This is NOT DQ quality, there is a reason they are flipped upside down before being served. We have never had such poor quality, melted, messy blizzards. I have our receipt and am thoroughly disappointed in all aspects of our visit. DQ we know you...
Read moreI needed an ice cream cake for my husbandâs surprise birthday party. I considered DQ and one other place, but after a friend mentioned how good they are here my decision was made. And a good decision it was! I had an all around positive experience and hereâs why.
The price is good. These ice cream cakes can be expensive at other places. You could find them even cheaper at a place like Kroger, but I canât speak to their quality.
I was able to put a cake on hold day off. In fact, I called in the morning right as they opened. The woman who helped me was friendly and made the whole process easy. (I will warn you that they do run out of certain flavors. So definitely order further in advance if you need something specific. The Oreo seems to be the one they have on hand the most.
It was delicious! I knew hubby would want the Oreo Blizzard Cake and it sure was a good choice! I loved that there was not actual cake - just ice cream with a layer of fudge and chocolate Krispies in the center. It also held its shape - it didnât met the second we took it out of the freezer but it also wasnât to firm to eat.
Awesome service. I already mentioned they were friendly, but it is truly worth mentioning again. When youâre carrying a 22 lb. baby boy and someone offers to help you to the car, it...
Read moreMy first expirence with this new DQ was not a very good one. I sat at the speaker for a good few minutes just for the girl to come on talking to one of her co workers. I said hello? And she proceeded to take my order. She did not repeat the order so once I got to the window and paid I checked my receipt. Two of the three blizzard I ordered were rang up incorrect. There were five workers just standing around the drive thru area and when I finally got someone's attention I explained to the girl that two of my items were incorrect. She said she would have them fix it, she then came back with the wrong blizzards again. After fixing it a third time I get home and the one blizzard was still missing the "Royal" fudge that I had paid extra for. It did not appear that anyone working there was over 16 and maybe if there was some adult supervision they might be able to get an order with just three...
