Ill start off with the environment is nice and the ribs are decent. Unfortunatly thats all the good i can say about this place. took the family out for dinner was expecting to be seated so we could chat look at a menu. maybe get some appetizers and order and have time to talk while our food was preped. Not the case u stand in line like u would wait for school lunch and order. Once u placed ur order u go to whatever table u want. ( note a minor sold me my beer). From there on u have to get ur own napkins forks knives spoons bbq sauce whatever. You would think bein a bbq place bbq would be on every table and tables would at least be set. So i ordered full rack of ribs like i said they were decent. I also ordered 3 sides yes no sides come with any order u have to purchase them separately for $2.50 each. ( very small portions) Awful absolutly awful flavorless sides i had the coleslaw mac and cheese and baked beans. the coleslaw had no flavor might as well just eat raw cabbage the mac and cheese was flavorless and gritty and the baked beans were all different kinds of beans in a pool off bbq sauce. (Not what i was expecting from baked beans) once food was ready you have to go to a pickup window dont worry about asking for togo boxes as the food is served in them or on paper plates. so once we are finished eating yet again you have todo everything for urself clean the table throw all ur trash away. Not worth the money in my opinion if im gonna spend good money on food ($50) for a rack of ribs and 3 sides maybe a lil customer service could come with the meal not like im getting my school lunch....
Read moreStopped in around 3:00 Saturday for a late Lunch . You feel very awkward when you enter not knowing to sit at one of the benches or order up front . You order up front . The restaurant is very clean but lacks in atmosphere. The girls working there not very friendly either. The menu is ala cart and prices are kinda high for self serv. (Pricey) They have no plate specials here like most BBQ resturents the Pork Ribs are $25.00 for a full rack ,That is served with nothing , sides are extra...$7.00 for 3 pork ribs , the French frys are $5.00 the salad is $9.00 and baked potatoes vary plain ones are $5.00. . Loaded ones $12.00 and they are not real big. We had the chopped brisket sandwiches they are $7.00 if you get sliced brisket it’s $8.00. .3 Tablespoons of coleslaw for $1.00 . ( served in a condiment cup) I laughed at the serving of coke slaw. But You get a lot of chopped brisket on there sandwich and the BBQ sauce is good. Our meal was $ $25.00 for 2 sandwiches , 1coke ,1 water ,and 1 small fry. It was all served on paper . All self serv and all disposable . They are very pricey for a self serv BBQ place . I think they are trying to copy some of the BBQ places in Texas but they need to improve there menu and prices. Wanted ribs but not $25.00 for ribs.ala cart ...Probably...
Read moreHusband and I was out to dinner at a near by place that had a 35-45 minute wait so we decided to go here to get an appetizer to pass the time. That appetizer turned into 2 meals. We first ordered a side of beans and a pulled pork sandwich, while at the counter we asked to sample the potato salad. We did eventually order a side of potato salad. The food was fresh well seasoned and absolutely delicious!! We went back and ordered a sandwich that had 4 different meats and another side order of beans ( those 2 items totaled $25). The sandwich was enough to share. The prices were a bit high but the quality didn’t disappoint. I would have loved a bigger portion but who wouldn’t have when it’s so enjoyable!!! Definitely will be back definitely will recommend to others definitely didn’t miss the other place we were suppose to go too!! Restaurant was clean and the one bbq sauce they do have is so magnificent they don’t need another option in my opinion! Looking forward to trying all the sides!!! Job well done Harmon, please invent a loyalty program! I would love to earn points towards extra food and a...
