I never thought I would be writing a review like this for Chick-fil-A. The temperature was -1° F with over 25 mph winds and snow gusting sideways. I ordered $40 worth of food via the drive-through. I asked for a fruit cup for my son, with only oranges and strawberries. Iāve been ordering this for years now - no issues. UNTIL THIS DAY⦠Timothy, working the drive-through window, decided to tell me, as I pull up to grab my food, that they need to charge me an extra 50 cents for a āfruit upgradeā. I tell him we have never been charged this before. He decides to rudely continue this conversation, then walk off and talk to who I can only assume is the manager, and came back to explain that āthis has always been a chargeā⦠all the while I have freezing wind and snow kicking up in my face, drifting into my truck window and all over my family. Maybe I should have told him to put it towards my āyet to be received couponsā that the Florence Mall Road location still owes me months after messing up $40 worth of food that they ācouldnāt give me a credit forā because they had to āmail me couponsā instead - which of course I NEVER GOT. Oh and the best part!! Timothy was so concerned with the extra charge, he didnāt give me A SINGLE Chick-fil-A sauce!!! So, I am 100% dissatisfied with the service I have received, not because of the charge, but the fact of how it was handled and messing up my order yet again! I would have expected this from other restaurants, but not from Chick-fil-A. It is truly a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI use to like this Chick-fil-A but they left me disappointed today. My work decided to order from here today and they forgot my chicken sandwich amongst the big order. No big deal it happens. The issue is when I wanted to get it fixed. I called (not angry) and told them the scenario. They said I can come back and get my sandwich for free. I also ordered a milkshake and large fry with my order which I wanted to eat with my meal and not separately. I dropped off the food at my work and left to go get my food. When I got there I realized my milkshake and fry back at work are gonna be melted and cold so I asked if I could have that replaced too. I was told no and that I can have a complimentary small fry but not my original large size nor my milkshake. You would think that after messing up my order. Ruining my meal. Forcing me to clock out extra time at work and lose money on my paycheck as well as gas in my V8 engine vehicle they could at least give me my large fry and milkshake back that is a very minuscule cost to the company. Needless to say my work will no longer do our group orders here like we do a few times a month. I am disappointed in this location representing a business that typically puts customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never thought I would be leaving a negative review for a Chick-Fil-A, but my experience this morning was terrible. This location has two lanes for drive-thru, however it was twenty minutes (4 cars) before I got to the order placement screen. When I was one car away, an employee came out and switched the screen to the lunch menu. Once at the window, I asked if I could still get breakfast and was rudely told 'No.'
Chick-Fil-A employees are NEVER rude. This took me aback.
The order-taker asks me for my name for the order, and this is when I realized just WHY the line was so slow. Instead of telling you which car to get behind, the employees were sorting orders by name.
Five minutes more in the line to the window, the young woman at the window was nice and courteous and gave me my food quickly and efficiently.
Not until I started eating my food did I realize that it had been sitting in the bag for 5 minutes (either that or not under a heat lamp) because my waffle fries were cold and my chicken was lukewarm.
To think, I could have hit a Big Boy or Bob Evans and been eating in that time. Chick-Fil-A locations are never this...
