White Castle — Restaurant in Fort Wright

In the past I was a frequent flyer at the location in Ft. Wright. I would stop in the mornings on my way to work when Jeanne and her crew worked at the Ft. Wright location. Service was great. Always pleasant and quick. No waiting... Not so much anymore. I have gone to the ft. wright location a few time in the last several months. Each time you have to wait between each car order. A couple of times I went inside to see If I could get me order sooner. The inside does not feel clean and the employees act like they are in no hurry to take your order. bothering them to order even thought they know people are trying to get to work.

Yesterday May 8th was the last visit for me at this location. I pulled up to order and one car was in front of me. I waited for awhile because they had to wait... and wait... Anyway when I finally got to the speaker to order all I hear is " I'll be with you in a minute" ! Ok... So I waited.. and waited.. finally I said hello? I thought they forgot about me.. Employee comes back on the speaker and again say's I'll be with you in a minute !... Now mind you I have three cars behind me now and only 2 cars at the most are in the parking lot inside the restaurant ordering. I said to the employee... People are starting to leave..(last care behind us left...didn't want to wait.) Her professional response to me was I'M ONLY ONE PERSON AND THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF YOU !!.. I ask... is this what you call " customer service "... I waited for a few minutes longer and the longer I sat ...the more mad it made me that she spoke to me like that. When she came on the speaker and said.. " Can I help you " ! I told her NO... You have terrible customer service HERE. when I drove around I seen no cars so I do not understand why she took so long. .I understand someone having a bad day, but that was totally uncalled for.... I will not be back... Also ..While I'm at this review I would like to state the White Castle on 4th and Philadelphia St. is slow and not very clean looking inside.... I guess you just cannot get good service anymore. My money will definitely be spend someplace else. I expect this business location will be closing soon if they cannot get things worked out... from the looks of the other reviews I'm not the only one that has had a problem at...

On my way home from shopping with the wife and son. They wanted Chick-Fila but on the way there, I saw White Castles and had the crave!!! Pulled off into the parking lot to check the WC App opened and had to update. No biggie. But then it didn't recognize my log-in credentials. After a password reset, all good but noticed none of my past points are present. I JUST HATE ALL THE FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS FOR ZEROING OUT YOUR POINTS IF YOU HAVEN"T BEEN THERE IN AWHILE!!! Anyways, I couldn't make up my mind and ordered a bunch of stuff. $39.58 to be exact... just for me. lol. Yes, I was hungry. The order taker was courteous and so was the young lady at the window. The food showed up reasonably quick. Fastest time ever, I think. My opinions of what I ordered and ate...

• 5 Star's for the Panko Fish Sandwich. added tartar sauce and it was Very Good and will order again but will add cheese, onion, pickle and lettuce if possible to make it 100% GOAT.
• 1 Star for the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Dry as can be and minced chicken. Flavorless. Even if I added sauce and toppings, it'd be unworthy. Never again.
• Onion Chips always are good but half were over-fried.
• French Fries weren't fresh and very soagy. While I am not a fan of crinkle cut, their's are typically better.
• Mac n Cheese Nibblers were tasty but would have been elevated with a dipping sauce of sorts.
• Last but not least, the real reason, ordered White Castles... the sliders! Wanted to have some leftovers as everyone knows they are good cold straight from the fridge. Love their jalapeno cheese versions and so I got a Crave Clutch 20 pk. The price was pretty steep but hey, all fast food is now-a-days! Didn't even drive 1/4 mile and reached in and had a slider. Imagine my surprise when I ate the whole thing and didn't taste a pickle. Thought, ok one was missed. But the next one and then the next one also didn't have any. TURNS OUT, NONE OF THEM (all 20) didn't have pickles. Checked the receipt but "no pickles" as not inadvertently put in when I placed the order. Got home and called the store but went into Voicemail. Will have to followup regarding this because this is just not right! You let me down... a slider without pickle is like not having the onions on there. YOU JUST HAVE T...

I will never be back down this location. The young lady who took my order, was very rude - I asked for a Crave Case (with extra pickles), a sack of fries and sack of onion chips... She repeats "A crave case 15 cheese, 15 regular extra pickle and a sack fries." I said "yes but I also asked for a sack of onion chips," at which she promptly answers with attitude and hand in the air "I GOT IT". It took her 5 minutes to put the order in because her nails were too long.

So I waited - which took about 20 minutes to a half hour to get my order. Meanwhile, the bathroom is a wreck, toilet paper everywhere, and toilets not flushed. The guy who was cooking, didnt have an apron on and he had to tell the other guy to nake sure to wash his hands before handling the food from cleaning the front tables. The kitchen was a disaster - trash everywhere, dirty gloves on the front counter, trash on the counter.

Finally, I got my order. The extra pickles I asked for - WERE IN SIDE CONTAINERS - REALLY?! So, mentioned it to the young lady and she looks at me with stooper on her face and simply says "I'm sorry."

I finally get home and go to plate food for the kids and boyfriend tho find out the fries were not cooked long enough - THE MIDDLES...
