Wasn't very satisfied. I had never been here before and when I walked in I took some extra time to look at the menu and could feel the pressure from the employees for me to hurry up. I asked about their gluten free items because it interested tthat they catered to that and the employee said he didn't know much about it. I asked him what he recommended after I told him I had a coupon for 2 burritos for a certain price and he didn't really seem to know what to say. When I got nervous I looked around and noticed I was holding up the line so I ended up ordering two pineapple chicken burritos since it was the advertised burrito. When he prepared the food I noticed it was sloppy. I didn't know you could customize the order so I just said how it comes normally then changed my mind when I noticed cilantro and wanted one to have some and one to not have some. He ended up putting it on both but I gave up paying attention due to the overwhelming frustration I felt from his blase attitude. I decided to overlook his lack of customer service and anticipate the quality of the food. When he handed me the bag I noticed some sauce was dripping off the handle into my hand and I ended up having to deal with that until I got to work so I could wash my hands. I told my coworker about the experience and she wasn't satisfied with the food either. She noticed everything was mashed in and the burrito fell apart upon opening. I had to hold off on submitting this because I believe in giving places a second chance so I didn't complain. The 2nd visit was pretty much the same except this time I knew what I wanted and the server was fast but decent. I understand being frustrated with ignorant customers when it is their first time at an establishment, but good service is always expected even when you have to deal with someone like me. The sad thing is you won't miss my business because I believe this place is fine with how it does things. The other people on the store seemed happy with their burritos and I was astonished. I know my review may sound harsh but it is something I felt needed to be said. I hope some good comes from this. I don't want anything in return, just learn from it in hopes you don't turn away more potential customers who are interested in trying you...
Read more*I left this review 9 months ago, I haven’t been since, I would have gone maybe a couple of dozen times. They made zero effort to even apologize. I have actively talked friends out of eating there and no doubt they told their friends. I intend to keep telling people. This is what poor customer service does.
TLDR; much smaller portions, called an @sshole for complaining. - I used to love Hot Head, food quality was okay, portions were good and a great selection of hot sauces. Today I went and my bowl was made with new smaller portions (when I say hardly any meat and cheese…). I complained. Still paid, we in fact paid extra for more cheese and veggies and it was still smaller than the bowls I’ve gotten all the years I’ve been going there. Sat down to eat, heard the staff talking about me from the back kitchen area. @sshole was said, other things as well, which are worse, but you...
Read moreWaaaay better than Chipotle. Bigger portions, just about on par or maybe a little cheaper give and take than Chipotle as well, and it just tastes more fresh, especially the tortillas, they're actually soft and warm here unlike chipotle who for some reason gives you the stalest tortilla known to man. Spicy steak is amazing, the roja salsa is awesome, queso is delicious. Service is also very good, usually I come near close (forgive me) because I get off work in the evening, but there is usually a woman there and she is very friendly and gives out generous portions there. One night I was there they were just about out of steak for the night, so the man that was on shift ended up giving me the rest of the steak, but ALSO a heaping amount of another meat, which I chose chicken. Those two combined probably made it one of the best burritos ive had. I really don't like Chipotle if...
