Yuma Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Fortuna Foothills

My Wife and I have been frequenting this establishment since moving to Yuma in late 2016. Although it may have changed ownership since then, the food is just as savory as it was in the early days. My wife and I are huge foodies and travel alot. As a result, I wont say we have a refined palate :P but we are incredibly selective when it comes to Thai Food. Yuma Thai delivers on this front. I know it is hard to believe but this place has some of the best dishes I have tasted coming from Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, San Diego, and Phoenix. Small Servings High Prices Bland Dishes Poor Service Went and had a forgettable lunch today. Had their drunken noodle dish. Bland with too much oil. VERY little chicken added. They added tomato and mushrooms to the dish as well. Don't get me wrong, I love tomatoes and mushrooms, but I have NEVER had tomato or mushrooms added to drunken/spicy noodles in over 30 years of ordering it. The acidic tomatoes gave the dish a weird flavor. Waitress never once stopped to check in on us and my water glass was empty. When she brought the bill she noticed it. Good food. As good as most I've had in Phuket or Bankok. Totally authentic, too, as the chef is simply making her own good old home cooking. Order one star heat lower than your usual, tho, as it's pretty "spicy"--my 2 here was like a 4 is at my fav Thai place back home.
