I post at the risk of being accused of being unreasonable and/or rude. I have to say I honestly miss the days where common sense was the norm instead of the exception. There was a water line break this morning (outside of their control) and I was unable to shower before leaving. Another couple said they also had been waiting for over an hour for the problem to be fixed and they were told they had to check out. They told me they refused to leave until the water came back on so they also could shower.
I asked Ashley at the front desk to call the manager and request for a refund or a discount. She texted him, saying that if he didn't respond in a few minutes, she would go outside and call him. My question was "why don't you go outside and call him now instead of waiting to see if he will respond?" She told me she didn't have cell service inside. "Outside" was literally 10 steps from behind the registration counter .... and there was the desk phone/business line she could have used instead of texting.
When I asked her why she didn't use the business line/desk phone, she said "I can but I chose to use my cell phone." I just don't get one's inability to use common sense. If your cell phone doesn't have a strong enough signal to make a call, go to where there is a signal OR how about you pick up the business phone intended for such purposes so you can more efficiently address the needs of your customer(s)?
I did not get the night clerk name (I didn't get in until nearly 9pm), but she was wonderful.
Management (Francisco) & owner (Jesse): please do not respond to this post as you already so generously gave $20 back from the $94 room for the inconvenience. I will use it at the next truck stop for a shower.
As a response, I would more appreciate you to provide staff (Ashley) training in customer service and how certain interactions are better handled via voice calls and not inefficient texting. Sometimes you just have to pick...

This review is toward the lady you have working the front desk on this date. (White, blonde hair and nasty arude attitude) Her cavalier attitude needs to be adjusted. She does not greet she only speaks after you prompt her too speak. Maybe she is having a bad night or just does not like people. She did not greet me or my wife as we entered the lobby. (Maybe we disturbed her star gazing and she was upset) At the front counter, I stood in front of her only for her to say staying here (No hello, good evening..nada). Then she barley spoke asking for my ID and cc. The only reason she asked is because I just stood there dumbfounded about how rude/ill-mannered she was acting. I gave her both my id and cc (in her hand)..she places them on the counte when finished with them. I find that disrespectful. If it's handed to you, you should hand them back. The paper to complete the initials and make model of car.. all she did was highlight the lines then slid the paper on the counter towards me and pointed at the highlighted blanks. I responded what is that only to get her to speak and explain what was needed. (My thoughts were damn how rude is your nighttime receptionist/employee). Not telling us where the room is just pointed at the elevator. (Like go find it)
I am telling you, this has got to be the rudest person alive at this hour. I said thank you and walked away. Wishing I would have just walked out but I am tired. I hope this review makes it to her hands so she can see how awful she treated another person. Weather or not she deems her attitude and actions acceptable, Best Western should not! Best Western should be appalled at this representation of your establishment. Now this review is stuck...
Read moreThis was our first time here and it was an amazing experience. We would have loved to have checked in at 3pm to make the most of it including the pool but we will definitely do so next time. We were not disappointed at all. When we arrived, Kristina was on the phone so we waited patiently until she was done. She asked if we were checking in and proceeded with all the details to check us in and we even noticed that they had dog treats on the left side of the desk. That was adorable! Kristina even walked us to show us our room to make sure it was to our liking which was a huge factor since we haul an enclosed trailer that we needed to be able to keep an eye on during our stay and we included those notes in our reservation plus that we also preferred a ground floor room if they had stairs only due to disability both requests were addressed** The room was spotless AND even had 4 large towels which was amazing because who doesn't want to shower as soon as you check into your room to be fresh the rest of the day and also when you wake up of before checking out so saving us a walk to the front desk to request an exchange for clean towels this was perfection. The towels were not worn out or nasty like other hotels Everything is at a walking distance. This hotel is a definite 5 star and we will for sure be checking in again soon Also; BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING AND DELICIOUS! it had been a while since we had checked into a hotel with complete breakfast and everything was delicious and satisfying. It did not disappoint Thank you to the room service staff as well for keeping a top notch service and very...
