Mozzi's Pizza — Restaurant in Fortville

Ordered pizza from here to try since everyone talks about it. Wife ordered online an tried to get two small half pizzas of two different kinds of pizza and one large half and half pizza an order other stuff as well came up to 40.10 paid online an was driving to go get mind you we drove over 45mins to get. Then get a call saying we can’t do half and half pizzas on smalls or the large due to different sauces and toppings so was told we can get small pizza but price would be different so we are like ok how much more will price be? Someone over phone said hold on will get a price. Waited for over tens minutes to get updated price. Finally the wife hanged up an called back finally got a updated price 51.93. So went to go get and street was all messed up which I know it wasn’t the pizzas joints fault. So went inside to go get and they said it would be 51.93 I said no you all ready charge my card 40.10 and showed the cashier of it and she goes in back in kitchen and was talking to the manager and I could hear him yelling an screaming at her over it. She comes back out an said no I need to charge your card again an other charge should come off in a couple days I said well if you can’t just charge the difference of what was changed I don’t want it then. Cause I have been down that road to many times an not even being offered a receipt of 41.10. So I said just keep it. Then the manager was saying to her get him back in here and make him pay as I was walking out the door. So as I am walking out of door the manager comes out yelling and cussing me to get back in there an to pay. Very dissatisfied with there unprofessional manager and business practices and looked a few days later my card was charged the original amount but never got any food due to there unprofessional manager an lack of them communication say will have to dispute transaction through credit card company but after this experience definitely will not being going back!!!!!!!!!! I pordered online. The website said my order would be ready in 25 minutes . I arrived 30 minutes after I ordered. Mozzi’s was busy when I arrived due to a large order that had been placed. I understand being busy on a Friday night. They only had 1 high school girl working the counter. She was doing her best but she needed help due to her struggles! I finally made it up to the counter after 10 minutes. The Sicilian pizza I ordered was done but the traditional 13 “ Supreme I also ordered was supposedly just coming out of the oven. I paid for the pizzas and waited. After 30 more minutes of waiting, I asked what happened to my other pizza. She went backed and checked on my second pizza, it was done and had been sitting there for 20+ minutes. The pizzas boxes were barely warm. When I arrived home the Sicilian pizza was made wrong and was not even warm! I would definitely NOT order online ever again! If you do order from Mozzi’s do it via phone and ask how long it will ready be before your order will be ready.Also ALWAYS check your order BEFORE you leave or you might get an unwanted surprise when you get home! I placed an online order Sunday, and it said it would be delivered in 45 minutes, and it charged my card. After 1 hr 20 minutes I called to follow up to find out they were closed for Easter (understandable they were closed, but no one turned off the app ordering). I left a voicemail explaining what happened and requesting a refund. Monday morning a polite younger employee called me (Brayden), apologized for the problem and stated he would have the manager look into the refund when she got in. As of Thursday, so no refund (I know banks take different processing time) so I called again to see if the refund had in fact been processed and when, leaving a voicemail explaining the situation. It is now Friday afternoon and no one has contacted me since Brayden did Monday morning, and I’ve not gotten a $53 refund.

Their delivery has always been good, and I understand things happen. However I’m extremely disappointed of the lack of service and follow-up (except for Brayden who was wonderful). With a small town that has 5 or more pizza options, this...
