I ordered two main dishes to go. The Pirk King with pork, Pad Kapow with beef, and three white rice.
The price was 50 dollars for two dishes. Honestly, not what I was expecting to pay. I wish the lady had told me over the phone the price of the two dishes. The price you see on the photos are off by ten dollars. My mistake, I should have asked. However....
The taste of the food was nothing special and subpar compared to other Thai restaurants. If you charge high prices, you need to deliver on taste. This place did not deliver on taste.
The easiest thing to get right is white rice and the rice here is absolutely terrible. Terrible white rice can make the entire meal bad and I was served rice that was very mushy and clumpy. I had to dig around the sides to find rice that was not mushed together and soggy.
Pad Kapow beef was bland. Needed more flavor. Pirk king was nothing special.
The taste of the two main dishes were below average. Maybe they serve better dishes and I just ordered the wrong entree? Not sure but will not be back anytime soon as there are many other Thai places that taste much better without the...
Read moreI ordered my food on doordash. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special with the salad and egg roll and a side of sticky rice. First of all, I did not get the salad and egg roll and of course the order history does not show specifics of what you ordered so I can't prove it unless I call. They do not have it labelled correctly with doordash. Both the pad thai and lunch special pad thai(with salad & egg roll) are labelled the same. So when they receive the order ticket it just shows "Pad Thai" hence, that is all I received. The taste of the pad thai is super bland. There are not very many veggies in it which some may prefer, but it takes away from the flavor. The only thing you can taste is the chili sauce they add to make it spicy. It is also EXTREMELY dry. Normally I would have to wear a bib to cover my clothes in case any oil gets splashed. The sticky rice is also WAY TOO DRY. It is so dry and sticky that you almost need to use a knife to cut out chunks to eat and it also had some crispy areas proving it was over cooked and dry.
I will not be dining here again and I would recommend to avoid...
Read moreThe location seems family owned by the most kind man and woman who has always been very generous with the portion sizes. I've been here about a dozen times now, but I finally remembered to do a in depth review before inhaling my meal. The foods are always top-notch in flavor, both dining in and take out. The atmosphere is pretty peaceful and never feels too clustered. The pace of the service is good too. When ordering out, I've never waited longer than 20 minutes for my meal. All of the items I've tried, I've loved, but a go-to favorite is definitely the pad thai with any meat and the tom yum seafood noodle soup. The spicy level is truly spicy yet still retains much of the flavor of a traditional tom yum soup, so if you can handle the heat, give it a try, but I recommend sticking with medium level if you want to avoid sweating buckets. I'll be coming back to this place often, and I recommend checking them out as it's my go-to for thai food, and they are certainly...
