Que Vida Taqueria — Restaurant in Fountain Valley

This is my first time here. I asked the gentlemen that helped me out and he said they opened a month ago. My wife was craving some tacos so we decided to try this place.

We ordered to go so don’t have much review for the location other than it’s clean and spacious.

The service was great. Very helpful and talkative. Helped me select a burrito.

Now the food…. We got home and the Cali Burrito was beyond freaking good! It explodes with taste. Also; the amount of guacamole is crazy! Other places limit you. The steak pieces are big as well. Over all, I’ll be getting another.

My wife ordered tacos Al Pastor and in her words “these are the best Al pastor tacos I’ve ever had”. I think it was home made tortillas as well.

We ordered chips and guac and they gave us a huge amount of guacamole!

This place did not disappoint. I’m still get to order more food but I’ll for sure...

YUM!!! I went all out and ordered an Anaheim Burrito minus rice, add pico and al pastor. It’s big enough to feed two so the $23 I spent on the burrito plus fountain soda could theoretically split. But it’s sooooo good I’m not sure how anyone stops eating it. The tortilla is a magical grilled but doughy taste, probably the best I’ve ever had. I arrived late, after 8 pm but didn’t have to wait in line. The staff were really helpful and nice and the place is cute, clean and relaxed. They play Mexican music which is perfectly fit for the place and they have three TVs. Also, they have CokeZero on tap and it’s mixed right. That’s icing on the cake! My wife and I ordered 3 tacos and 1 bean and cheese burrito.

The tortillas were crubily when picked up and fell apart. The carne asada meat was super cold, burned, and tough. For the amount of time we waited, one would think it was cooked fresh.

The gentleman that took our order came up to us after we were done eating and asked us how everything was. I told him, he offered to make another one. I wasn't in the mood. He ended up taking a picture to show manager. He also mentioned it was a soft opening, which is just an excuse. Ended up throwing away 1.5 of the tacos.
