Malloy's Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Good food, downright horrible service. When entering we stood waiting to be seated until a fellow customer helped us. After 10 minutes we were able to place a drink order and 20 minutes later we got our appetizer (minus napkins or silverwear to eat it) . After ordering a couple sandwiches we were informed, several minutes later, that they had no bread to make them (despite being next to a grocery store). As our drinks ran to empty, we still received no service despite being in direct line of site of our server. The food finally arrived (via the cook and not our server) now an hour into our dining experience. I'll pause to acknowledge that the food was great and the cook was very friendly. When preparing to pay our bill we tried to express our concerns and instead of server acknowledging them, we received unsupported excuses like "we're really busy (chatting up people at the bar)" and "I've been waiting on 80 other people", when it was 25 (we counted!) before she decide to just walk away from us midsentence. She never returned and instead the cook came with and for the bill. Another key thing to note is that the outdoor patio allows for smoking and there is nothing to keep it from coming inside to you. Truly an odd experience to receive better service from a restaurant's cook than the actual server... Never did get...

Saw the Bar Rescue ànd realized it was Super close to our house. The place was clean and the people were nice. I am GF so I ordered a burger with no bun. The French fries are beer battered which I didn't know. The chef was quick to realize it and suggested a salad in place of the fries.

Our server told us he was new. He did a good job for the most part. When we walked in it was awkward because nobody greeted us. We had to walk up to the bar and ask if we should seat ourselves. As we sat down the server asked if we wanted something to drink. We asked about specials or a drink menu but they didn't not have any. We had our teenage daughter with us and all his suggestions were non alcoholic beverages which surprised me because it is more of a bar with food. The drinks came very fast but no napkins given so when I squeezed my lemon I had to ask for a napkin.

The food was very good, came out in about 15 minutes. The other bartender brought our food and refilled our drinks. We had to ask for silverware at that point.

We were in a corner near the door with really nothing around us but my husband had fruit flies buzzing around him. Hopefully they can get that under control.

Staff was unable to keep up with 30+ customers on and otherwise slow Thursday night, didn't carry Mike'e Hard Lemonade but some random brand called Nurtl that was horrible - I tried 2 flavors of it and returned both, yet the "manager" charged me for them even tho they were undrinkable. I switched to my usual drink of Captain Morgan's Rum with orange juice and 1. I do not think they even used Captain Morgan's and 2. the OJ was either some orange flavored drink or it had gone bad - it simply tasted wrong. My bill for the 3 drinks I did drink was a whopping $61.50 since they charged me for the 2 I didn't drink - imho horrible customer service! I left a measly $5 tip (and I am typically at HUGE tipper!) and will NEVER return again. Can't speak to the food since they don't carry anything vegan, but after my experience there and coming home ill from the OJ (litteraly spent hours in the bathroom), I wouldn't dare to try the food. CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN! Also the music sucked if there was even any playing, and the place was seriously understaffed even tho they knew this was a launch party for a new poker league (owned by my friend).
