We dined on a busy Saturday night. The menu was similar to most Mexican restaurants in the area, although prices of many dishes were a little cheaper.
The food was average, at best. We had the carnitas (best dish of the night but small portion), carne asada (ok portion but too salty), burrito supreme (below average, according to my 14 year old), chimichanga (average) and kids bean burrito. The staff kept the chips and salsa flowing while the service was slow. The salsa tasted fresh and was tasty, but the chips were average/below average.
The staff was friendly but service was slow. There were only two people working the front of the restaurant, including seating people, taking orders, delivering food, checking people out, cleaning up, etc. Getting drink refills, our orders placed, etc was all slow but they were very sweet.
I don't think they have a liquor license so no Marg's or cervezas.
Overall, it was a big let down. It was far from the worst Mexican restaurant in the area but I don't think...
Read morePlace was decent and service was decent. The only problems I had were on how expensive and stingy this place is. Chips and salsa are complimentary for the first round and they charge more for every other. Not typical for a Mexican restaurant. I ordered 5 tacos at $4 each, so pretty expensive there, especially for how small they were. When I got my order it came with only 2 quarter slices of lime, which for 5 tacos is not enough at all, so I asked for more. After the meal my wife wanted a to-go box. Got the check and found they charge for the extra limes and to-go box. Never been to a Mexican place this stingy before. Fortunately they dont charge for the green and red salsas, but you gotta get up and get it yourself at their little salsa station. At $4 taco and charging for every little thing probably won't go back. If you do come, don't forget to bring your...
Read moreHad dinner at this restaurant for the first time last night. I have to say, this is one of the worst Mexican restaurants I have been to in a long time. The green chili isn't even green chili. It's full of lard and fat, barely any green chili and no flavor. The refried beans taste like they came right out of a can and no flavor. The shredded chicken was actually over flavored, extremely salty, and fatty. Salsa was okay, but too much Pico. Also, it is very overpriced for the quality of food. Better off going to Los Dos, which is always amazing, and the same price.3 of us all felt the same about the experience. Was excited to try based on some of the reviews but was very disappointed. Also, I felt sick after eating the food. Probably from all the fat and lard in their...
