I use to go here a lot when I first moved here, but I stopped. The people who work here are real cold and unfriendly. They literally have no personalities and you can tell they want as little to do with you as they can. It seems more for a place for older people and kids, but being a single guy you definitely get kind of condescending looks in this place.. I guess that is just how it is in small suburban coffeeshops that are mostly filled with soccer moms and their kids or people just running in and out for their coffee, which is the most common customer base. The waits here can also be very , very long and sometimes they will just have one staff member making the drinks, working register and you could wait even as long as 15 minutes sometimes just to get a cup of coffee.
They do serve my favorite coffee roaster Corvus. However, despite brewing some good batches, there are many times I go there the coffee taste sour, old and just not very fresh. I also have had some times where I end up having lots of coffee grounds stuck in my coffee. Anyhow, I do not enjoy hanging around this coffeeshop and don't really like the coffee they serve, despite being my favorite roaster. Now, I just drive a little bit farther and go to the Corvus on South Broadway or to coffeeshops in Denver. It's nice not getting dirty looks by the baristas and the coffee Corvus serves at their own shop is always pristine. As well, the people who work at Corvus...
Read moreMy wife and I have been frequent visitors to this place, so I don’t want to generalize our experience with a broad brush.
Generally speaking, the coffee is great, and our visits have been good. However, we had a serious issue with the gluten-free items. Despite the labeling, there must be some level of cross-contamination. Yesterday, after consuming gluten-free food here, we both became extremely ill—sicker than we’ve been in years. We had to cancel all our plans, go home to rest, and take three different types of antihistamines to manage our symptoms that lasted until the end of the day.
I understand and appreciate the desire to be inclusive and offer gluten-free options, even with an upcharge, but if you’re going to offer these options, it’s crucial to take the necessary care and precautions to ensure they are truly safe for people with dietary restrictions.
Our experience has made us hesitant to return, especially considering how careful we need to be about gluten...
Read moreATLAS what does that conjure up for you? Maps, world's strongest or perhaps an SUV. How about coffee. A coffee shop in Littleton to be more specific. It's owned and run by the rockin' Robin family. She may not like that don't tell her I said. Robin does see come on down she's got coffee of various sorts and I think their own creation. My first time having Matcha. Anyway Robin said she's got coffee for you and your whole family. It's a storefront shop that attracts people with laptops doing work and pastors meeting with people and your occasional coffee connoisseur. Mellow music to go along with the mellow vibe. A very relaxing place I would say, minus the comfy furniture. Robin has a variety of pastries to go with the coffee or tea. You might even meet her son behind the counter. They keep the place clean no worries there and everything...
