Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Fox Lake

Beware of this location. I placed on order on the app and did the the $7 dollar deal. On the app it is advertised as 10 cheesy bread sticks. After getting home and opening everything up i realized i was only given 5 bread sticks. The guy on the phone (very rudely) said they don't offer 10 bread sticks and if I had a problem I could contact corporate. I offered to show him where it is advertised and he interrupted me to tell me its not his problem. (he would not let me finish a sentence) He begin to scream at me at this point saying this has nothing to do with him that is it is a known issue and I need to call corporate. I tried to explain I just wouldn't have ordered if I knew he hung up on me. Once off the phone I tried to call corporate just to find out they do not take calls for customer experiences, only emails. So I called back to the location, just so they were aware of how he handle the situation, and asked to speak to the manager just to be put back on the phone with the same guy, which was claiming to be the general manager. He was extremely rude, continued to yell at me, and said he would no longer provide service to me. I was extremely patience with him but no one should be talk to that way. Luckily I was able to recorded our second conversation and will be sending it to corporate. I see I'm not the only person who had this problem at this location and really think you should look into this guy. I will not be returning to this...

On October 17th, I placed an order at 5:00 PM through the Pizza Hut website for delivery from the Fox Lake, Illinois location. I ordered the NY-style pepperoni pizza, cheese & bacon breadsticks, and a pop. I was informed my order would arrive by 5:35 PM, as I live close to the store. At 5:15 PM, I received a notification that DoorDash would be handling my delivery, still with an estimated arrival of 5:35 PM.

By 6:00 PM, there was still no sign of my food. The DoorDash driver eventually texted me saying he was running late and even asked for my street address, which I provided. It turns out the store had provided him with their own address instead of mine. Finally, around 6:30 PM, the order arrived—but by then, the pizza and breadsticks were ice cold, and the pop was warm.

I reached out to Pizza Hut customer service through their website, only to receive an automated response promising that the store would contact me within three business days. It has now been five business days, and I have yet to hear from them.

The food quality was poor, with the pizza tasting like cardboard, and the customer service was nonexistent. If you’re looking for subpar food and service, this is the place. Came in on 10/31 If I could rate it zero stars I would I went in to place an order and was ignored aswell as I overheard what seemed to be the manager and a heavy set kid (younger kid was throwing around slurs and swearing) and they continued to talk about how it’s ok to serve moldy product a younger female also pointed out in their conversation some food at points is over a week old. That’s disgusting as someone who managed a McDonald’s in the past you can kill someone it’s sad to see what this location has become and the lack of oversight and management is appalling.
