Customer service was lacking. Employee did not know what goes on the new cali FRESH turkey. Didn't mention that there was NO FRESH mozzarella before starting the sandwich. Did not offer a discount or double cheese that had to be substituted, like other stores. Other employee giving away free food, drinks and cookies to friends that work at Menards.(Everyone heard you Alvin (sp?) When you asked could I get a cookie and a drink too.)When confronted about giving away free food, Employee got loud and belligerent along with his cohort. That was after the transaction was voided. No other subway location has to touch the cash register when the order is supposedly paid for online, after grabbing the initial ticket to make the order. Employees wear no name badges to identify themselves. Employee did not change gloves in-between handling food and cash. Disappointed that the bread fell apart and the avocado tasted like plastic. Will not be going back to be treated poorly and waste money on false advertising. You shouldn't raise your voice to any customers, especially females. Poor manners and poorly trained. Let me mention again, they do not change their gloves to toggle from handling food to handling cash. I didn't stick around to see if it went the other...
Read moreFirst day off after working over 100 hours in the last 7 straight days, my gf wanted to treat us to our favorite sandwiches on my only day off before I do it all over again. After dude botched it he copped an attitude with her and told her to pretty much drive back or get bent. Left a bad taste in our mouths. I see why this place is deader than my grandpa. The employees here can't make 2 sandwiches right with an hours notice and directions with pictures. Then the customer can just waste more time and money to make up for it. I usually cut places like this a lot of slack (I've worked in food), but man, I'd sure want someone to tell me if these were the people on my payroll. But most of the good reviews here look fake,...
Read moreDon't waste your money at this location. I'd go to Round Lake or one of the countless other stores. When I spend $30~ for 2 sandwiches and set it out an hour later so the employees make things right and aren't rushed, I expect everything to come out as specified. In this economy, Subway is a splurge. When I don't get what I pay for, on the rare occasion it's upsetting enough to call about, I certainly don't expect to be directed to drive 20 minutes back and told to drop off the sandwich I just fingered through to exchange it. Aside from being told I'm expected to waste my gas to fix someone else's mistake, that brings food safety and hygiene into serious question. I obviously won't be returning...
