Sauce N Toss - Foxlake — Restaurant in Fox Lake

Service exceptional. Very polite guy, gave us more detailed explanations of some sauces, portions, options we had on different menu selections. Told us how long food would take as we were ordering (and which might take a little bit longer than others). We ordered 6 piece wing meal with cheese fries and pickle chips (we’ll working our way through the menu, but starting with the basics!). Portions were very reasonable, excellent mild Buffalo wing sauce. Fresh carrots & celery. Pickle chips tasty too, extra crispy. Did I mention the ranch dressing? Delicious (guy said they make it fresh every morning).

They’re still getting their beverage stuff lined up but coming soon, so no ice for beverages (but plenty cold). But they have full bar available now you can get with restaurant side - beer, cocktails, etc. Upbeat music. A little more contemporary which I personally liked. Two tv’s showing different sports/games, appreciated that. They’re opening the bar too on the other part of the building, but it’s still in progress. We’ll def come back to try...

I gave an overall 4 because your order online site needs to be better. It regularly puts through 2 orders when I am only placing one getting error messages and no confirmations other than seeing my bank had the money taken out twice. When I called the store after ordering yet again online thinking it was a glitch that should be repaired by now they confirmed they did see I had 2 exact orders. When I asked to cancel one of them I was told that they would make only one but couldn't cancel it, they have to let the manager(who is never there apparently) know that I need a refund. I am still awaiting a refund from last May so I told them just to make both orders, not wanting to take the hit again. The gentleman I spoke with advised me to call in my orders in the future to prevent this. How about you either fix your online ordering or take it down so people don't have this issue? We love the food and the service there is great which is why we keep ordering but I can't afford to buy twice the amount I am...

I will only speak on the restaurant side here. Food was excellent! Customer service great! The restaurant space itself is a little bland. I understand it's a franchise that may specific rules or stipulations on decor, but spice it up like the dragons breath sauce. Get more sports decor, lights, TV's, banners, etc. Also there was a couple of sweet kiddos hanging around, probably kids of a worker, that's cool. One of the children put on a bit of a show doing some gymnastics moves, cool, but then asked for money, also cool, I get it, everyone is hustling these days and at least she was putting on a performance. One problem we had was one child came up to our table while eating, asked for a fry, then immediately reached for it. We told her don't do that and everything was fine.
