Came in to try some nigiri and some rolls for lunch. The restaurant had open seating, so I found myself at the sushi bar with the chefs. Atmosphere was nice with plenty of space between tables. Server checked on my multiple times to make sure I had drink, notify me when food was arriving, and made sure I was enjoying my food. The unagi, smoked salmon, and white tuna were acceptable. The unagi was warm, as it should be, and needed two bites to eat, so the portion was good. The smoked salmon was legit and had great flavor, also requiring two bites to finish a piece. It was smokey and had some buttery hint to it. The white tuna lacked the rich buttery/oily flavor I expected and was my least favorite of the three, but still edible. The wasabi is manageable. They gave me plenty and I was able to add a decent amount to my soy sauce before I burned my sinuses out. If you like a good wasabi, this place has it. It was soft with bright color and not a hard darker glob that seemed like it was oxidizing in the air all day. The rolls were great, as well. In terms of size, I would say they were acceptably edible in one mouth full. I felt there was plenty of eel sauce, even possibly an excess, which is unusual. If you like eel sauce, this place did not skimp. I am not a fan of mayo, so spicy mayo and "crab salads" were not evaluated. Soft drinks were served by can, which was not a problem. For those that may find this restaurant pricey, the meal came out like a piece of art, so you are paying for that presentation as well. I will find myself eating here again

My husband and I live in the area and saw the sign for the opening date. We are big sushi fans and were super excited to try it out. We decided to go on the opening day and I believe we were the first patrons to do sit down service. The place was nicely sized and clean, and the decor was very pleasant. The menu was surprisingly huge—first half is for the seafood fans, and the second half is for the sushi/Japanese food fans. My husband decided to get their sushi roll lunch special (choice of 3 rolls with miso soup and small salad) and I got the chicken katsu bento box (miso, salad, sliced up chicken katsu, white rice, shumai, and a California roll). My husband loved that his spicy salmon roll was stuffed with meat. I loved how big my bento box was. The presentation of both meals were beautiful. Everything was delicious! And aside from that, the staff were super attentive and very nice. My husband and I definitely plan on coming back and we are super excited that a sushi place is only 5 minutes away from our house.

I'm in love with this place. Actually there is one problem. It's a waitress that can lie on your shoulder while you're ordering. Most often, she is surprised when you order one dish for two, but this dish is not the only one and you ordered more than enough. It was unpleasant. It's good that a nice waiter girl worked that shift, who brought the missing dishes, which we asked our waitress about. But when we came to this place for the first time, we had a chance to meet a wonderful waiter boy. He was very kind and helpful with the choice of food. It is because of him that we returned for the second time. And the dishes are always very appetizing and amazingly fresh. We love great chefs! One of them loves to be creative and decorate dishes for different clients with his own style. That's lovely! We were very happy to find this wonderful place! Thanks for your work!
