DONT EVER EAT HERE, GROSSS HAIR IN MY FOOD HORRIBLE STAFF MEMEBERS. I ate here two days ago I found a piece of black hair in my food I informed a server and she told me to call and tell a manager and that itâs not her fault after I had just received a devastating phone call that my grandfather just died. I tried to give this restaurant a second chance I placed an order to go over the phone today and the order was completely incorrect and they gave me a burger instead of haddock and a lobster roll. I called and informed the manager and she proceeded to say without a receipt she wasnât going to be able to do anything and I said they never gave me one and I said what about the prior day when I sat down and ate here and she said that It should have been reported to a manager. I said I did the server told me that I need to call a manager and I said well Iâm in a rush I have to go to the hospital due to an emergency so I was not able to drop everything for 99 restaurant and cater to them. Granted the manager proceeded to tell me to come bye the first time I talked to her on the phone and that they were going to remake it and comp it and I was all set. I drove over an hour to get here and she calls me less than half way here and said she wouldnât compensate my food and that I drove all the way here for it not to be ready or compensated. NEVER NEVERRRR EVER COME HERE. They sent another manager outside who smashed his hands against my car. He called me a liar and said âoh thatâs fresh thatâs the pot calling the kettle black.â WORST...
Read moreEdit: I have upgraded my review given some success with the pick up to go option. I am also hopeful to keep trying and eventually turn that into a 5 as I learn the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of some of these sports bar diner scenes. My initial disdain (which happened at least twice) was based on being made to feel like a fool and standing around like an idiot for some time when a "seat yourself" sign would have sufficed. After a long day of working out I feel like this is not unreasonable that I should be able to walk in somewhere and be acknowledged by any staff such that I can place a chicken breast with nutritious sides. On this dish 99s does better than Applebee's, offering more options for sides without upcharging, although it is essentially the same dish, but I feel like the small details matter. If they still do the turkey tips or I can pop in and dine at an odd hour, one or both may clinch this as a 5.
This location has no presence whatsoever for the host/hostess role (greeting and seating). I would go with the chicken breast with balsamic glaze and sides in...
Read moreWe went for an early dinner tonight. Lots of signage alerting you to a NEW menu. Iâm a frequent visitor to the 99 and iâm very familiar with the old menu. First thing I noticed was no prices for alcoholic drinks and all the prices had gone up. We ordered a salad, potato skins, chicken pot pie and country chicken dinner. Asked for salad first, waitress brought skins. Unfortunately they were burnt beyond being editable. They are one of the things we always get so it was disappointing that the chef (I use that term loosely) or waitress saw no problem presenting them to us. Shouldâve just left then because it was all down hill from there. Food was not even editable but I guess the new plates and the new menu are suppose to hide how bad the food is now. As bad as the food was, it was alarming that the waitress didnât even address the fact she was taking back full plates of uneaten food. She couldâve cared less. I guess if thatâs the attitude allowed itâs no wonder the cooks donât care either. Will not be back and itâs sad because theyâve always been our...
