Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Foxborough

For what it was, Tropical Smoothie Cafe was a bit of a gamble. I was looking for a place that I could get something a bit healthy, and with gluten-free options. As these conditions make me a very easy-going and low effort customer, I decided to stop here for the first time.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe, as a smoothie place, also serves salads and sandwiches! The menu provided labels for things that are vegetarian and grain-free. Ordering a Caesar Salad without croutons was easy, and accurate. It was a delicious satiation for hunger, and felt light enough, too! (Yeah, it's always the dressing and cheese that add the most calories, but let me have my flavors on top of a DELICIOUS bed of lettuce leaves.)

It being the summer, you will find a nice, chilled beverage at this Cafe. There are a lot of different options. Parking was available and so is a drive-through.

The name Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a bit misleading, because they offer a bunch of other food options, too. If you're a curious type, I recommend...

I’ve gone to this location 3 times now and wanted to save judgment. However all 3 times I had the same poor experience. First off, the food is as passable as hospital food or maybe an airplane meal? Secondly the staff here. I think it would greatly benefit the establishment if they hired just one man to keep the pace and competency. Sounds offensive, but that’s because it’s true. (I’d love to be proven wrong, please make my food correctly and in a timely manner, by all means I dare you). If I’m sitting there waiting for my food for as long as I do (15 minutes min), it should come out tasting a lot better and correct. Don’t go here on your lunch break, you WILL NOT make it back to work on time.

EDIT... Below was original review. Personally , I wint go back because owner really didnt take care of his employees. My favorite employees left due to being unhappy and there are too many children working there that don't have good customer service skills .........I love the Tropical Smoothie on the Mansfield Foxboro line next to Fit Factory. I'm pretty picky but I love my Blueberry Bliss shake with Collagen and my All American breakfast wrap minus the mozzarella. Will admit it's a little bit pricey but always good. The facility is very clean and most of the staff really nice and helpful. During the weekdays , Sheba, Wendy, and Diane are always friendly and helpful. Kai is...
