Five Guys — Restaurant in Foxborough

Delicious food, fast and friendly service, you really can't go wrong!!

We visit Patriot's Place every year during Patriot's Training Camp and stay a few nights at the Renaissance hotel. We always have our go-to places for food, but this year I decided to switch it up and have Five Guys for lunch considering I haven't had it in several years. I took my son for lunch while my wife and the other kids got some rest and I was blown away by how good the food was. We had the double bacon burger all the way style and it was incredibly tasty, and of course the fries were fantastic. Initially I thought the prices seemed a bit high but you absolutely get your moneys worth here. The food came out fast and everyone was super friendly. We enjoyed the food so much we went back the following day and had lunch again, this time with my wife and all 3 kids. Even my 21-month-old daughter went to town on the burger and fries. This was hands down my best experience at a Five Guys restaurant, and just an overall great experience eating out. You can tell that the workers take great pride in their jobs, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. I made it a point to let them know how good the food was on our way out but wish I could have offered more appreciation. We also grabbed a banana milkshake during both visits which was delicious. Waited 30 minutes to order. Waited the same for my food. Milkshakes came out fast, but burgers got set aside for some reason, and by the time someone realized I had had enough. It was busy, and they were clearly understaffed. The manager did give me a refund on food and my burgers, which was cool. His handling of the rush situation was less than ideal. We watched him walk into the back with his phone in hand a few times. I will NOT go back to any five guys after this. Remaining open in such a limited capacity did not do anything positive for the brand. It was the fourth of July celebration, but should have been prepping for that well in advance. From what I hear, the upper management is complicit and needs to be held accountable as well. I hope the poor guy running shop that day finds a more supportive company...

I ordered online and I went to the place 20 mins later. The place was packed. The guy at the pick up area was rude, he said he is not processing online orders and went inside. I had already paid online. He came back after 5 mins and was rude to me again. All I wanted was to know whether he cancelled my order or not. I did not get a clear answer and he went inside again. When he came back he said he will process my order because I had already gotten a message that my order was picked up!!!! It was not. And then he said he was out of the burger and the fries I ordered. He couldn’t cancel my order and I ended up going home with 2 burgers I didn’t want. Absolutely terrible place. Avoid at all cost. There are plenty of better restaurants...
