Sansone Brothers Pizza — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I heard great things about this place. I ordered ahead, got there, and nothing was ready. The two guys working there didn't greet me and I was just standing there with no idea if someone would come to the front or not. Finally someone asked me what I ordered and it still wasn't ready and took another 20 minutes. (65 minutes for two cheesesteak that were ordered ahead!)

The inside of the place is in need of serious renovation. It's straight out of the 70's and looks filthy. I hoped the food would still be good after the wait but it was a solid 1 or 2 out of 5. I wouldn't try it again and I usually give places...

Well, I think I’m officially done with this place, sadly. At 6:17pm, I ordered two Sicilian slices and a side of mozzarella sticks via DoorDash. 90 minutes later - an actual hour and a half, my order arrived and it was two plain slices. Even if you don’t have anymore Sicilian, why did it take an hour and a half to produce two plain slices? It was so long that my DoorDash driver changed three times. So not only did it take a very long time, but it wasn’t what I asked for. No courtesy apology from the restaurant or anything. Don't sleep on hole-in-the-wall pizzerias. Sansone Brother's Pizza might just be a small spot in a strip mall, but their pizza is great. The grandma slice had an excellent, thick, chunky sauce. The base was well-crisped and the cheese rocked. The fresh basil tied all the flavors together to finish off a great slice. The peppers and onions slice featured excellent cheese and sauce.
