Came here for a quick bite. The woman at the counter was very polite during order taking and for random things I needed after. I ordered a spicy chicken shawarma with garlic, fries, and a lamb gyro to go, all of which came fairly quickly after ordering. Fries were crispy and rippled, which is great, but I was hoping they'd be seasoned or atleast salted, which they were not. As for the shawarma, it had great flavor from first bite on. I believe most of the flavor was in the sauce, however, while I'd prefer if the chicken itself was more flavorful. It was pretty tasty all together however. Also, I'll mention that the portion size of the shawarma was a bit on the smaller than I've typically seen (in girth), but it was enough for me with the fries. I had the lamb gyro for dinner, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. I initially heated it up in the toaster oven but that wasn't warm enough, so my impatience led me to the microwave. This was likely part of the issue - some of the lamb was chewy. However, the flavors were significantly lacking, which I doubt was caused by heating it up. I ended up having to add some salt and garlic power to make it taste ok atleast, but it was still nowhere near as good as the chicken shawarma. In short, I'd certainly go back to try more dishes if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Also, based on the chicken, I'm giving then the benefit of the doubt that the lamb gyro was either my fault (reheating) and/or a one-time fluke.

WORSTTTTTTTTTTTT FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD.....I ORDERED GOAT OVER RICE. THE RICE AND GOAT WERE COMPLETELY BLEND AND THEY DO NOT HAVE RED SAUCE OR WHITE SAUCE....AND THE WORST IS I GOT A LONGGGG HAIR IN MY GOAT OVER RICE. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. WHEN I WENT THERE FRIDAY EVENING AT 8PM THERE WAS NO ONE EXCEPT THE THE OWNER AND FAMILY......NO WONDER THERE WAS NO ONE.....PLEASE SEE THE PIC AND MAKE UR DECISION.

Amazing time with my family who is new to this part in town. Since this was our first time coming here, they gave us each a free desert!

The falafels were above avg here, but that is about it. Growing up in Michigan (highest concentration of Iraqis outside iraq) this place would not be in business there. With that said this IS one of the better middle eastern spots I've tried in nj/ny. personally I will not be going back bc there are Better places to eat in general in nj/ny. I have just accepted there are aren't good middle eastern restaurants in the nj/ny area. Service...

Stick to the falafels...my daughter liked hers. I had a lamb gyro - which was "chunks" of tough, tasteless meat - not thin slices with lots of seasoning - and definitely NOT lamb. The sandwich fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it - from being too soggy. One half slice of tomato, old wilted lettuce and 1 onion strip. I have never had an experience where I couldn't eat the food...until now. So disappointing. Luckily, the fries...
