My wife and I like to try different mom and pop places and had yet to try this restaurant for breakfast. We made a good choice with the Court Street Café. When we walked in, we noticed it was a little small, but we were seated right away. Our server was over a moment or two later and took our drink order. When she returned, we each ordered the Farmer's Breakfast, and I got an extra side of home fries (one of my vices). Looking around, it was apparent that the owners put some effort into keeping a small-town vibe in here - nothing too extravagant and nice decor (we really like the ceiling fans). It is a nicely appointed restaurant! Our food came out a short time later, and it was tasty. The eggs were perfectly sunny-side up and the biscuits and gravy were just the right amount of spicy. The pancake was fluffy and the home fries were a little mushy, but that is probably just how they do them. Seeing as how we got the same food, my wife's order was greatly appreciated as well, as she had nothing but compliments too. Overall, we will be back, as it was a pretty great breakfast!

I was disappointed and told they do not do salads on Saturdays. Make no sense to me. I was told they could only do chips or home fries as a side. I picked home fries. They were mushy and not that good. My husband’s quiche was good, but small. We got bill and was charged extra $2 for home fries. Wish I would’ve been told at the beginning they were an extra charge. I didn’t end up eating them anyways because they weren’t good. I would’ve just stuck with in eaten wasted chips instead. The banana bread was really good. The fruit is fruit…. The chicken sliders was oddly sweet, but good. Flavors worked well together. It was crowded and the staff were really working well as a team. Seemed like a cute place, but was just disappointed. Just wish they could’ve thrown me some lettuce on a plate. Bit I will give them another try. We seen several other items other tables ordered that were probably better.

My son brought me to this mom and pop restaurant when I visited him and I have to say I loved it. My BLT was great, the bacon was cooked to perfection and crispy, not soggy like most places. The bread was lightly toasted or grilled and had the perfect texture. My son raved about the meatloaf saying it was tender and tasty. He also mentioned the garlic mashed potatoes are amazing. If you are in the area and you want a very reasonable price restaurant with excellent food stop by this cafe. You won’t be disappointed.

This is like the cutest place EVER!

After finishing early voting for the Indiana primary I spotted this place across from the courthouse. We walked in to find this tiny, cute cafe

The sign at the door told us to seat ourselves - so we chose a two top towards the back of the dinning room. The girl came over almost before we could sit down with menus and asking what we would like to drink.

She returned quickly with our drinks and to take our order. I went with the BLT as it was something light - yet usually very tasty.

After finishing the appetizer our main course came out. The BLT was great. Not that you can really screw it up - but the bacon was great. Not too limp and not too crispy. They some with a cracked peppercorn chips as well.

The cafe is really cute. Its small but they use mirrors in a smart way to make it feel bigger. Two tops line the walls with a long dinning table in the middle for large groups. There is a drink bar in the front along with two tables that sit along the huge window looking at the courthouse and Court St. The bathrooms are located in the back of the place and are in great condition.

The food is great and the service is up to par with the food. Its just a great place - so great that at the time of writing this I've...

Small quaint little restaurant in Franklin. They have two Godly women who run this beautiful restaurant. Their food is wonderful as well as prices. Only place I know locally where you can still order a drink(referring to,coke, diet coke, coffee or Arnold Palmer )for I believe now $1.25 when first opened it was only$1.00. It just shows other restaurants could charge less if they wanted too. Don't expect to leave early if eat here because it's all freshly prepared. The women that run it will come out and talk to you if they have time. I highly recommend this place if you haven't eaten here. Wonderful food, wonderful waiters and waitresses, and a wonderful quaint little restaurant in Franklin. We usually try and eat there at least once week. This place when you go in everyone seems like everyone knows each other. I'm sure it's due to the wonderful ladies blessed food and their attitude. These women talk to everyone they can. I feel like God blessed me by showing me this restaurant because I look at them as friends!!!!!!Well worth the trip but as I said remember to be prepared to spend a little time their if you go in...

We have been wanting to try this place out and we finally decided today was the day. We met a very sweet hostess who was working so hard to do everything she could for everyone and gave us a great first impression. That was the only good thing about the whole experience. Server comes to our table and I asked her for some cream and sugar for my coffee and she acted like I was inconveniencing her. She went and grabbed some and slammed them down on the table then proceeded to tell us how horrible the sweet little hostess was (which she was not) then takes our order and when she brings out our food it was completely different from what we ordered and she acted as if it was our fault. Then only takes half of the food away comes back with more food which still wasn't right and expected us to just deal with it while she wanted to try to argue with us. We asked for the bill to leave without ever even eating anything and her response was just leave. First experience at this place and will be the last. We will never be back for this kind of treatment and so called service. Keep the hostess and get rid of the...
