I wanted to share my experience with pre-ordering a book from this store. My hope with writing this review is that the communication between store and customer can be streamlined. When pre-ordering, I was under the impression this would mean receiving my book before the release date or at the very least mailed out soon.
There was no communication from the bookstore other than the after purchase email saying the book would be shipped in 1-3 business days and that I would receive shipping information once shipped.
My purchase was on February 21st and reached out on April 7th for an update, but received no response. My book arrived two weeks after the release date. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWild Geese Bookshop is my favorite bookstore! Located in a cozy, historic building, the shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger and explore. Tiffany and her staff have curated a wild selection of top-notch reads along with bookish merch and gifts, ensuring I never leave empty handed!
What sets Wild Geese apart is the personal touch. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about helping customers find their next great read. Whether youāre looking for a thoughtful recommendation or just want to chat about books, youāll always feel welcome.
The shop frequently hosts author events (even a summer camp for grownups!) which are my favorite part. They have had a wide range of authors and I always leave feeling encouraged and excited to read. I hope everyone makes a visit to...

I've never been a fan of the way online retailers display their selection, I like the old way of seeing rows of books that I can casually thumb through.
Anyways, it's a neat little shop that used to be a house and makes no effort to disguise it. I was entertained when the girl working there said I could find a certain selection of books "in the kitchen".
This little town is quaint, and a little book store is pretty much required for these tourist towns. It fits well. Check it out the next time you're in town, you might find your newest...
