This is by far my favorite toy shop ! I started shopping here 6 years ago when my son was born, Debbie and her staff had helped find unique toys and educational materials for years, including several special orders. I’m not sure I’ve been to a single birthday party in the last 6 years where something wasn’t purchased from this store. The staff has always been so kind, and helpful with my kiddo( who’s pretty feral ) They have opened boxes so he can see, touch and feel something before buying it. They have sat in the floor with him and compared differences and helped him choose which item is best for what he’s looking for. They offered educational, and homeschool advice, as well as mom resources in general. It’s a village full of exceptional people. Debbie and her staff are a wonderful blessing to our community. We had a private shopping experience at Toodleydoo Toys. It was an AMAZING experience. I went in the other day without my daughter because toy stores are overwhelming for her. Teri Lynn was incredibly kind and offered to schedule a time to stay open a full hour past regular business hours. My daughter was able to shop by herself and take her time. They took her accommodation requests seriously (didn't talk directly to her and stayed behind the register the whole time) and they even had her comfort music playing (The Lion Guard soundtrack). There was no fee for private shopping and there was no minimum purchase requirement. The store in Franklin is awesome! You’re company itself , I adore. I’m writing this review in hopes it will reach someone who cares. You guys supply the pink poppy in shelbyville with toys. I don’t believe you should continue. The owner is VERY rude and only cares if you’re going to spend money or have a lot of money. I didn’t feel comfortable bringing my kid into such a hostile business. Would love to see what you guys supply them but can’t even get two feet in the door before being glared at and judged rudely but the owner.
