I have ordered several times from this location over the past 6 months, since it's one of 2 that come to our house, and Papa's doesn't stay open as late or on Sundays.
I have had pizza delivered maybe 2 times out of the 10-15 or so deliveries I've placed.
Usually I am called and told that there are no drivers, and asked to pick it up. I feel like that defeats the purpose of offering the food as a delivery in the first place, if I wanted to drive to get food I wouldn't be getting Domino's in the first place.
I was always understanding about the situation. I worked as a manager at a Marco's pizza in Georgia for a year, and have several years of experience in the pizza industry. I understand having rough days.
Today, however, has ensured that I will never order from this location again.
I placed an order at 8pm. For reference, this location is listed as open until 12am. It is a Sunday but not a holiday.
At 8:03, the pizza was in the oven, according to the tracker. I waited until 945 and then called the store because we have had problems in the past, in fact the last order we placed we had to call to remind them that we were waiting on a pizza before they left for the delivery.
Imagine my surprise when the phone just keeps ringing. I called again and they never answered. Kept calling intermittently until an hour and a half had passed. At one point, they answered the phone, and I was happy to finally be able to cancel my order.
However, the person who answered the phone simply put it down. Didn't say a word, I just heard the sound of the phone being picked up, then set down on the counter. When I called back again, it said all circuits were busy.
Of course, at this point I'm very frustrated because I've been waiting an hour and a half for food I might not ever receive. An hour and a half that could have been spent going to get food elsewhere, despite the fact I prepaid for delivery to avoid that specific situation. My one day off this week, the last thing I want it to have to leave the house for anything.
At this point it's 9:45. Almost 2 hours since my order was placed. Still no answer when I place a call. So I put on my shoes and my boyfriend and I go to the store to request a refund in person and put in a complaint with the manager.
The store was closed when we arrived. At 9:55. Yes, we live less than 10 minutes away and they couldn't manage a delivery to our house.
At this point of course, I check my bank account. The funds had been reversed and I received a refund for my order.
No one contacted me to say my food wasn't being made. No one answered the phone to say they were closing.
There is a lack of concern for customers and the quality of service is so minimal, it's a joke.
The food itself is fine, I've never found any issues with anything we've ordered.
For the service to be this bad, and for there to never be any driver, to have to come to pick up food when ordering delivery, to being hung up on when trying to call and speak to a person to see the status of my order... The management has to be atrocious. If there even is a manager. If the owner is running it this poorly, he should consider hiring a qualified general manager.
This location should be shut down. I can't imagine the losses they're taking running it in this manner....
Read moreordered 140$ worth of food Friday at 9:45 pm through the app for a pickup on the way home from Atlanta.
I was called about 20 minutes after the order was placed and was told they couldn’t make the order because it was less then 2 hours before they closed and they no longer make food the last 2 hours of being open.
I thought that was a bit weird considering they are open til 1 am and it was only 10pm at this point and asked the persons name, just to be immediately hung up on.
We ended up going to the location to see what was going on because we were charged for the order but was denied our food, and was greeted by a short man named Chris who said he was the district manager.
He apologized and said they weren’t making any food after 10pm that he couldn’t work the store with any less then 5 people making food and he only had 3 others working with him so they were closing early.
This location just needs to close permanently. Half the time they’re not open or they close early and or they don’t make food cause they don’t have...
Read moreI ordered a pizza online for my kids to pick up. My daughter is 17 and my son is 13. I messed up on the order and ordered the pizza without cheese. That is totally my fault. I didn’t expect a new pizza or credit. I thought they may be able to add cheese and run the pizza half way through the oven. I was on the phone with my son when I sent them to ask. Justin (Dominios employee) said no that we would need to order another pizza. I did order and pay for another pizza. But, the issue is they way he talked to my children and laughed about it in their face. I wouldn’t not have ordered again if my kids were not already anticipating eating the pizza. I don’t believe Justin would have had the same smart aleck attitude if an adult had been with them. They may be kids but they are still customers and they paid for the pizza in store both times. I don’t order from Dominos very often because of their rude impolite employees. Not all of them just a few. Justin is the reason I will not order from Dominos of...
