The absolute worst drive through experience I’ve ever had. Firstly, the person on speaker was extremely rude and unhappy (I understand we all have our days, I’ve worked at drive through coffee places too and we can’t always be 100%, but this was extreme). They were out of Boston creme donuts, no biggie, but she was very rude about it and said she had a different donut, and I said “I’m sorry what is that?” Because I’d never heard of it, and she said “it’s the same exact thing it’s just creme not custard”. Her tone the entire time was extremely disrespectful but I continued with my order because I was hungry. I started ordering my drink, and as soon as I said “large cold brew” she repeatedly interrupted me while I was literally speaking, asking “you want any creme or sugar or anything else”, talking over me while I’m literally trying to answer the question. Finished ordering and tried to say thank you and it was just “pull forward”, still talking over me. Reached the window, and she said my total was 7$ and something, to which I replied that that sounded low because I’d ordered half a dozen donuts, a large coffee, and avocado toast. She very rudely and without apology said “okay I just didn’t ring it in I already made it”, and started ringing it in, and asked what size drink it was and if it was hot or iced (?). She then handed me my drink immediately, which confused me because she just asked what it was. I took the drink and parked, only to find out halfway through that it seemed smaller than usual. I looked on the bottom to realize it was medium. Calmly walked inside, saw who I assumed to be the manager, who just looked at me, and said “Hey I’m so sorry, I just came through the drive through and she didn’t give me a receipt but I think I was charged for a large and this was a medium”. He said nothing, just looked at me, pulled a sticker down and started making a drink in a large cup. Put whip cream on it (it was supposed to be cold foam), set it down on the counter, I said “Thank you!” And he said “Yup.” Walked back to the car to discover it was iced coffee and not cold brew as the other one was/the one I paid for, so it’s still the wrong drink, not what I ordered, and there wasn’t one single employee working who seemed to care whatsoever about the business. With the exception however of a younger looking kid who was sweeping at the time, who did take a moment to ask how my day was while I was waiting, but truthfully I felt bad for him because it was clear he’s working in a very miserable environment. Avoid this Dunkin, there was a plethora of...
Read moreThe worst DD ever ... now I get things happen but this was ridiculous. Tried going in to place an order the doors were locked at almost 11am no note on the door nothing. So went to the drive thru 1 car in front of us more then 10 minutes until they were done. Pull up no greeting nothing radio silence. After 5 minutes I was like hello then they ohh we'll be with you shortly. 10 minutes later I get a call which apperently they were listening to my conversation with my 11 yr old the whole time. When I answered my call I said I'll have to call you back in like 5 hrs I'm wait to place an order at DD which the women in DD responds with we had an emergency and had to call the cops. I said I wasn't talking to you and yes at that pointquiteannoyed not only about the wait but the fact that they had no problem listening to my conversation. At the 20 min mark order placed but they can't make food (bagel). Once we picked up our order they apologized and said employee didn't show up. So beware if you work for DD and don't show up they call the cops lol. DD needs to train employees on communication when a drive thru order pulls up greet them and let them know they are aware you are there, if there is an issue let the customer know there will be a delay, and if food is not available that should be communicated as so as...
Read moreMy family and I recently visited our local DD restaurant at 5043 Carothers Pkwy, Franklin, TN and I couldn't be more disappointed. We submitted the order through the drive thru. When we got to the window it was like no one in the restaurant remembered that we submitted a larger than usual order, but nothing overly complicated - one latte, one coffee, two donuts, one coffee roll and one bagel. The two women at the window were so rude. The original cost of the order was $12.91, which didn't make sense to me, but she read back everything I ordered at the time of the order. She handed me a bag with a bagel and a bag with a donut and asked if that was all. (A bagel and a donut for almost $13?) I've worked in customer/client service my entire professional career, so I am very patient and understanding and never get nasty with an employee. I politely said that we were missing the coffees, the coffee roll and a donut. She handed me the coffees and then was confused with the other donut and donut roll. Then the other lady start yelling that if I wanted them, I'd have to pay for them. Well, that's why I went there. I wanted coffee and donuts and was willing to pay for them. It wasn't my fault they weren't on the...
