On March 12, 2022, I ordered a sandwich with a side of fruit and this is what I received. Notice the difference between the pic on their website and what I was given. They charged $4 for this....5 grapes and a few slivers of pineapple and canteloupe. Not even chunks. Tiny slivers. The cup was not even half full and the fruit was NOT fresh. Notice the hole in the grape. They would have NEVER given this to someone eating in the restaurant. Sandwich was made incorrectly. NO cheese. NO slices of avacado. OLD wilted spinach instead of lemon-dressed mixed greens. OLD tomato. How hard is it to make a fricking sandwich?! I tried to call the restaurant several times to complain and the phone rang and rang and then they disconnected the call every time. Never got to speak with anyone. If placing a "to go" order from this restaurant please be aware that you will be treated differently. They should be ashamed of themselves. I wish I had read the lowest reviews first before ordering. There are numerous complaints about the fruit and "to go" orders and quality of food from this location. Clearly the management does not care. They need a new manager and kitchen staff needs to be properly trained. BEWARE!

Well... I probably should have stuck with something more common. I got the lemon pancakes with a side of what was supposed to be over-medium eggs and side of bacon. 1) Half of my bacon was undercooked, 2) eggs were over-easy instead of over medium. Requested redo of eggs and the bacon but still returned runny/undercooked, and 3) syrup wouldn't disperse from the pourer, that just added to the "give-up" moment. They still wanted to charge me for the eggs, although I still didn't get what I ordered - but that's the difference between mature waiters vs. our new generation. I say that's a training opportunity. Otherwise, the environment was nice, diverse, and initimate space. Staff were professional and nice. Love the farmhouse aesthetics. I liked that they have a common area (similar to seating at the bar) for overflow if all tables were full and you didn't want to wait awhile for seating. If I go back, I will, however, wait for seating and be more particular in how I order. TN over-medium is obviously not IL over-medium, lol.

It's a chain breakfast and lunch place with interesting menu items in a generic americana space. Quick seating, clean and bright, friendly service from Aimee. I had the roast beef and horseradish havarti cheese with lemon dressed arugula, roasted onions topped with a horseradish sauce accompanied by tomato basil soup. The sandwich was amazing. Great bread - often overlooked in the overall scheme of sandwich building - quality ingredients in perfect balance. Yum. Soup was good, but way too thick. Brought down the high of the sandwich a little. Here's the Breakdown: Great service +1 star; delicious sandwich; plenty of menu options +1 star; super clean and bright +1 star. I'd go back. I'd like to try breakfast.

Visited again after 4 years since my last review. How does this place have any repeat customers.

Current Review We had terrible service and slow food delivery last time 4 years ago. We came back again based on the owner's response to my review and it was the same. Potatoes so salty, and my last visit did was so bland. Maybe they over corrected. 2 of the 4 people had food clearly sitting for a long while and then they had to remake eggs multiple times. Over medium isn't hard to do but they had trouble. We were out of drinks and with the extra salty food we really needed it. The water was empty for all of us for an extended time with no thought about refills. Nobody should have to ask for more water in a mostly empty restaurant while already waiting for food to be corrected on top of it. It's just common sense. And 4 people for $80 for what should have been a simple breakfast is terrible.

Original Review The food is a little bland and every time I've come, the service has been worse and worse. It's probably our last time here.

It was also freezing cold inside and every person working there that we asked about if they can change the thermostat because it's so cold... They responded that 'yes, we know' instead of actually 'doing' something about it, they just agreed with us. If you're customers are that uncomfortable and so is the staff, adjust it. This tell me the staff has likely been told previously that they can't change it for them to all ignore it. They were cold too.

I would love to keep coming here but three visits in a row...

I've eaten here (and at their McEwen location) numerous times and the food has always been excellent. Today however, was a different story. They're usually very busy earlier in the day so I went later this time around 1pm (they close at 2:30p)....well, that was a mistake. They weren't busy but based on the quality of my food might have been tired and ready to leave. My eggs were served without the usual seasoning, which I pointed out and was brought a container of greenery, and after a couple of bites I realized they were slimy and under cooked. My pancake tasted good but looked like it was smashed up, spatula chopped a couple of times, folded over into itself, and cooked again....I don't know but this pancake looked like it went to battle and lost. My waitress would have known this had she checked on me ONCE after delivering my bill. It seemed pretty obvious she was tired and not into it today. Last, while ignoring the disgusting eggs and trying to salvage the pancake I had the pleasure of listening to little kids from another table running amok and screaming for 20 solid minutes. Usually they ask at check out how the food was but I had the same server at the register who didn't inquire so I decided to leave a public review instead of mentioning the gross eggs I should not have had to pay for. If you come early, be prepared for the crowd and the waiting. If you come later prepare for lousy service and poor quality food. I may not return but if so I will never sit at that server's...

Ate lunch at First Watch this past Monday and decided there must be some issue in the kitchen. The food came out cold and had to be sent back. Something about cold tomato basil soup just didn’t go over well with our group. We let it go as a one time issue and the soup came back out great. Then we went for breakfast yesterday and knew without a doubt there was a staff issue. We first get a server that obviously did not Like the work he was having to do. He was rude and insulate to say the least. We ask for some real Cream for our coffee and he all but told us they didn’t have any until he finally decided we knew what we were talking about. He brings out one small server instead of one for each of us. When we ask for additional real cream he brings out a soup container and slams it on our table. I have always ask for real cream, actually on the suggestion of another server a few weeks ago, and they bring out one for each member at table having coffee. Then because he is mad he takes orders from everyone around us first that arrived after us. Again our food comes out cold and additionally our eggs were overdone. I guess it’s true getting good help now is an issue. What a disappointment since we were so excited about having our First Watch. When I pay 40+ for breakfast for two I really expect good food and a...
