Having moved from Beaverton, OR, we were so excited to find this favorite on the map, so we made sure to try it out. Uh- kind of a mistake. The carpet upon entering was a slimy texture, black colored, and smelled disgusting. It looked like someone had barfed on it and it had never gotten cleaned up properly. In fact, after entering the establishment, the entire odor of this restaurant smelled like athletes foot and dirty toddler diapers. When a complaint was expressed to the teenage girl at the counter, I saw no change in her expression, or sense of concern (or awareness for that matter) - I might as well had been speaking to a lobotomy patient. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant- and it was a weekend afternoon. After we ordered, we sat down at a dirty booth... that we used wet napkins to clean ourselves. I watched line cooks and other random staff wandering around or staring off into space, intermittently, while our food was prepared - not one smile, āhello,ā or āthank youā - all seemed unhappy to be there. After we received our food, my kids and wife didnāt even bother finishing their meals. Food quality is not worth a second visit - not sure how this place gets good online reviews - must come from the locals during their lunch hour (it seems to be located in a business park). How can one maintain an appetite in such a foul smelling place? Just take a look at their nasty bathrooms- I can only imagine what a nightmare their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is very tasty and there are a variety of dishes to choose from. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. But with that said, I have a few problems with this establishment. First off they do not offer rice as a substitute for noodles. This completely baffles me, since any other noodle-box style restaurant I have ever been to has the option for rice. Second, you have to pay extra for meat but you don't get much, maybe two or three bites. In fact, you barely get any food at all! The small portion is perfect for a child and the large portion is barely enough to fill an adult. I am a grown woman and I left hungry and dissatisfied with what I had spent. They have some goofy soda machine which you pretty much have to trick into filling your cup. They also seemed to rid of the spicy peanut sauce dish I had last time I was there (the one that the staff member warned me how spicy it was, "are you sure you want it?" and it was completely mild). The dish I ordered today was mild too, despite having a hotness warning. This place seems to have cheap management, and has been disappointing both times I have been there. Unless you have a small appetite, large wallet and hate spicy food, I would recommend going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am gluten sensitive/free, and have been for 10+years. I have a chronic issue, that is EXTREMELY painful when gluten is consumed. Tonight I went to the Cool Springs location and noticed that the cauliflower Gnocchi and rigatoni were listed under the gluten sensitive list as options. I asked which they recommended because I was gluten-free, and they said the rigatoni. About 1.5 hours after consuming it I got sick and have been for several hours now. I looked up the ingredients list online only to find pit that what I ate was in fact filled with gluten, thus explaining my discomfort. I am quite upset and frustrated, as I was mislead not only by the menu, but also the employees. Im not usually one to leave a review, and in fact this is my first, but I feel like someone needed to know. Yes, I should have looked up the ingredients list before I went, but I also wish that the employees would have listened to what j...
