Warning, the manager (Initials AG) has a total pompous attitude, displays rude behavior, aggressive tone, along with complete and utter disrespect towards her customers. Enter at your own risk!! If you read some of the other bad reviews about this location, you will see this recurring theme at this establishment.
Here's what just happened to me. I walked into Jeni’s to buy a pint of chocolate ice cream, and I could not see the flavors in the refrigerator behind the counter. The fridge was right next to the walkway to the public bathroom, so I walked down that aisle, making sure to be respectful and not go behind the counter. A delightful employee said can I help you. I said I wanted to select a pint to take home. She explained that the regular flavors were on the right side, and the specialty was on the left. Suddenly, from behind her, the other employee leaves the customers she is serving to confront me and tell me I could not stand there. I said, am just standing in the public aisle way to the bathroom, and she knew that was true. She then starts yelling at me and saying, it's against company policy, you can not stand there, and I need to move immediately to the other side of the counter. She was freaking using a very aggressive tone of voice. She left the couple she was serving to harass me, and if she had just taken care of her customers, I would have selected a flavor in 30 seconds and been on my way. This is not how a business should treat paying customers, and if she were my employee, I would have been fired on the spot. She would not stop harassing me, so I walked around the counter and explained I didn't have my glasses and could not see the flavors, and then she told me to loon on the website. That was the last straw. I told her she was rude and needed to control herself, and then she said she would not be serving me. At that point, there was no way I would give my money to that place. I asked her what her name was, and with a very snarky attitude, she said, let me write it down for you. So she put it on a sticky note and gave it to me. That's just an illustration of the attitude I had to deal with. I will never enter that place again. I hope this review helps others from having a similar...
Read moreI just went to this Jenis ice cream on a rainy Wednesday evening. It was not just at all. There was the cutest elderly couple who had just gotten their ice cream when we walked in, they were so cute! It was raining bad outside and they were standing at the very edge of the door inside enjoying their ice cream they had maybe stood there 45-60 seconds (after spending money with this establishment), all of a sudden this employee (whom let me say I truly feel bad for her because clearly she has no one who loved her, or has also not had the opportunity to love one) TALKS VERY DISRESPECTFULLY TO THIS ELDERLY COUPLE AND SAYS (exact verbiage, in the most hateful tone 🥺), “Are you all waiting on someone” the sweet little couple replies, “No it is just raining so badly we’re going to enjoy our ice cream inside” she then blows everyone’s minds and says TO AN ELDERLY COUPLE IN AN ALMOST EMPTY STORE, “Well our dining room is closed so if you could please do not linger here” I just almost cried. I couldn’t believe it. I will NEVER give this establishment my business again. She was a brunette who was taller. The entire store was absolutely appalled, it made me sick to my stomach. It was late oh an empty Wednesday night, an elderly couple is enjoying their ice cream and you ask them, an elderly couple to go stand in the rain or on a wet bench to enjoy their ice cream. I’m sorry anywhere whose employees are trained on being disrespectful to the elderly, doesn’t need my business. This isn’t political, this is respect. I truly hope she feels safer and better for making the sweet elderly couple who stood ten feet from her in a little corner by the door enjoying their ice cream leave and sit outside in the rain. As I walked out I spoke to them, and they did sit on an rainy wet chilly bench. I know karma will take care of the disrespectful, sickening human who could treat other humans that...
Read moreHello,
I am reaching out about an concern I had about our experience with at the Jeni’s in Brentwood. We arrived at the ice cream shop and looked at the sign which read “2 groups inside”. We waited for a group to leave and went inside. When we went inside we were asked to step back outside. The tone was not friendly at all it was also kind of chilly. I was confused because we would’ve been the second group, yet we were asked to step back outside. When one of our members got his ice cream he took one bite and was asked to put his mask back on still in an impolite tone. There is no problem with following guidelines but there was a misstep in the tones used with customers. We also had a lady come in behind us after the group in-front of us left. She was asked to step back outside in the same manner. I did not make a purchase because of the unfriendly manner in which the situations were handled. Thank you...
