McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Franklin

My 6 month pregnant fiance applied to this place, got hired, and worked one day. They forgot to put her in the schedule until she called them and asked when the next time she was supposed to come in. They told her when she was supposed to come in over the phone and when she got there on the day she was told nobody knew why she was there and that she was supposed to work. She had an accident and vomited right outside the bathroom because she couldn't make it in time. The General Manager then yelled at her for having an accident that she tried her best to avoid. My wife was already embarrassed about the accident and when her general manager who knew she was pregnant yelled at her she started to cry and was told that if she was going to cry over something like that then she didn't need to work there if she was going to be that sensitive. After she was yelled at for her accident she was then yelled at 10 minutes later because her shirt was not tucked in properly and the manager made a remark about how she couldn't understand how she couldn't even dress herself. This same manager has also been witnessed screaming and belittling multiple special needs employees in front of customers and other employees and then wonders why they have been hiring so desperately for the last three years. First... I ordered at 12:25. They gave me a curbside pickup of 15-20 minutes. They had my rewards number and I spelled out my last name for the curbside pick up. So they had my name. My husband arrived and parked. Called in and let them know he was there for the take out. He sat there for 15 minutes or longer ad NO ONE came out with the food. Nor did they call him back, as I am sure they must have a call log history on their pho as is common with most phones today. If they didn't have a call log to call back with, they could have walked out as he gave a car description for the take out to be brought to. NO ONE came out to let him know they did not have an order for him. He sat there for 15 minutes or more and finally walked in to see what the hold up was. They had the last name wrong. So, not only did he get poor customer service, our food was cold...and...I found a hair in my food. Plus, several times I have ordered and for some unknown reason, despite the fact that I have asked for my pickle to be included, it has NOT be included. Wow.... this place has gone downhill since their grand opening less than a year ago. I doubt I will be going back after this. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area and wants to have a nice meal in a clean and friendly environment!

This is a very nice restaurant that has great food! The employees are kind and they handle busy times very well. They rarely make mistakes in my orders, and if they do they are more than willing to fix them.

The restaurant is also very clean, even during the busy times like lunch and dinner. They always seem to stay on top of clearing off tables and cleaning the facility, which I definitely appreciate.

The atmosphere is kind of a mix between a sit down/ formal restaurant and a fast food restaurant. The food gets made quickly, but they bring it out to your table for you when it's ready. The decoration is also better than in a normal fast food restaurant as well.

I love the fact that when you order a spud, it's two baked potatoes put together rather than just one. They have very reasonable portion sizes for the cost of the food.

I personally like getting the spud max and avacado BLT sandwich with the choose-two option. The choose-two option means you get a half portion of both dishes, and I do that so I can try different things on their menu in one meal. It's also...
