Wow! Had a horrid experience tonight (8/5/2022 @ 2015) in the drive through lane. The young-trans lady who took the order had a very nasty personality and attitude. Talk about hating your job!
I've seen her in the drive through on a frequent occasion, and while she is NEVER NICE, NOR SMILES, she is tolerable for the minute I have to interact with her. Tonight is way different.
Anyway, we ordered and pulled around to the drive through window. We had the code on our online app and when we got to the window, the girl gave us our total. We inquired about it being charged through the app. Not missing a beat, she said it had a communication error and to pay at the window. Well... ok and I gave her my AMX. One swipe and she handed it back... "Its declined." I said now way and she said "Yes way, I ran it three times." No she didn't.
I pulled out my Visa card and she ran it... She turned around and said "Its declined as well." I asked her to run it again and she said again, "I ran it three times." Okay, well use this one, and I gave her my Mastercard. She ran it and turned around and said "Its declined as well." My reactions was to say "There must be something wrong with the system. She looked at my wife and me and said "No, there is noting wrong with our system, its just that you don't have any money!" Ding, Ding, Ding, round one!
Ok, she escalated the issue and I started to get mad. I looked at her and asked her what she said "what did you say?" She replied "You heard me."
Then the conversation got heated and she said "I'm not serving you and you can leave." I told her I wasn't going anywhere and asked to speak to the store manager at which time she said "I'm the manager." God have mercy on that store if she is the "Manager."
In the end, we left hot and bothered all over a $9.37 meal.
PS- when I got home, I checked my credit card account and McDonalds did charge my Visa the $9.37. So, I guess SHE INTENTIONALLY ROBBED ME.
What a sad state of affairs, when you have a young woman who barely understand who she is, wielding a sharp tongue and a small brain.
I hope others have a good experience, but for now, Hello Burger...
Read moreIt's been a while since I've been to a McDonald's for a burger but wanted to see if they were any better. The meat did taste better than before but that was the only good thing about this visit. I asked to hold the onions but to add lettuce. The guy told me there would be a charge for lettuce because a quarter pounder didn't come with it. I have never been charged for lettuce on a burger. If that was the case, why don't we get a discount to not put on oniioo?
The next problem was with my drink. I asked for a half tea/half lemonade, you know, an Arnold Palmer. He said the drinks were automated so he wasn't sure if they could do it. Once I got to the payment window, I asked again about the drink and he spoke into his headset and specifically asked for the "manual drink pour" with the combination. When I came to the product window and was given the drink, I again asked if it was hakf and half as ordered. I was assured it was. I then leave the busy drive through and get to work to find only unsweetened tea in my cup.
I also did not receive any ketchup or salt/pepper for my fries. Apparently, McDonald's is having financial problems because they are charging extra for lettuce on a burger and no longer provide condiments at the drive through. I guess I have to wait a few more years before...
Read moreI was traveling, in Nashville from Dallas catching a flight with my family out of Huntsville. This was the worst experience, I have ever had with a McDonalds. Oh my word it was a complete ZOO. So very unorganized, the elderly lady at the cash register repeatedly took everyone’s order down wrong and was extremely slow, we had to finally opt for the kiosk, people were coming up to the counter asking for straws because they were out and no one refilled them. Their was a spill on the floor and a man came up and said he had been up there before and asked could someone finally come and mop up the spill before someone hurt their self. Myself and two children were there for 35 mins while observing the chaos. A lady ordered pancakes and was told their was no butter she threw a fit and then someone went to the back and brought a huge box to the front filled with butter. The manager was their and what looked like a district manager assisting with drive through and in the back, however, someone needed to be in the actual front where orders were being taken to really view this catastrophe. Everyone that walked through the door I wanted to scream please just run for your life, please don’t pay admission to this zoo. If I had not already paid through the kiosk we would...
