I stopped by The Curry House on a rainy March day. If I had 15 more stomachs, I could easily have stayed until July. Service was kindly and fast, and upon ordering the Lunch Special, my food arrived with all the swiftness of a hawk. A pile of rice hidden under mounds of Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala, 2 different Naan breads, a hunk of tandoori chicken, a samosa, and rice pudding for dessert. The Chicken Curry is what you expect - good Curry flavor, tender chicken, and a nice texture to the gravy. The Tikka Masala is easily the best I have had, hands down. Nicely flavored, great texture on the gravy and meat... If I could have just kept eating and never got full, I'd still be eating it. There is a flavor I wasn't expecting in there, and it was hard to put a finger on. It reminded me of toasted cheese, though it wasn't. I was impressed. The rice was rice. The garlic Naan was where it is at! Eaten with the curries, it amplifies everything. The bread itself was soft and garlicky... perfect. The samosa was a little cold, but otherwise delicious. A tiny spicy kick in there made it exciting. The tandoori chicken was excellent, but I don't think I've ever had tandoori chicken that was either better or worse. Tandoori chicken is always good, and when accompanied by all this tasty feast? It cannot be beat. Rice pudding, sweet and somewhat delicate, was a great ending. So, long and short, this is a high recommendation for basic East Indian style food at a great price. Seriously - I left a pretty big tip and still spent less than I have getting lower quality food at chain restaurants. A+

First time to go here. The chips were served as soon as we were seated and those chips are addictive. The salsa looking sauce I don’t know what it’s called, was flavorful and verrry spicy! It was my favorite of all the three sauces. We ordered Paneer pakora as an appetizer , never had it before , battered cheese and inside the fold of the cheese was minty and herby.. Very filling. But the cheese is like the texture of cottage cheese which is not my favorite, but still good. Butter chicken was absolutely delicious! Sauce was creamy and so flavorful, there were lots of tender strips of chicken. Basmati rice was perfect and serving was very generous. There must be at least 3 cups in the bowl, but we did order two entrees. Lamb curry also had lots of very tender meat and perfect flavor. Had a lot of leftovers that still tasted perfect the following day. Maybe even better. I hope to be back to try their tandoori and biryani soon!

The food here is always consistently great! I usually get takeout. Tonight, my daughter and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is a very clean, modern, casual restaurant. They do have a luncheon buffet. We started with a lychee drink that was delicious! They brought us chips with three different sauces. One was slightly sweet, one tasted like it had a mint base, and the third was a chutney with onions and a fiery kick. My daughter had the tomato soup to start, and I had the mulligatawny soup. Both were really good. For entrées we had the butter paneer and lamb chops with basmati rice and garlic Naan. Everything was perfect! For dessert, we each had mango kheer. Absolutely delicious! Our waitress was awesome! She was very personable and helpful with the menu. The owner also checked on us. If you like Indian food, check this place out!!

I don't usually write reviews but more people should know about this place. The food here is fantastic and made with love. We've tried the other Indian places in the area (including the one in Franklin) and they don't compare at all. Our servers were Freddi and Peter, they were both super kind and provided excellent recommendations. They also didn't seem to mind when we asked a lot of questions about India, where they were from, the food, language, etc. My wife can be really annoying sometimes but they didn't seem to care about her yapping, it was a relief for me! We had the Tomato soup to start which had a really unique flavor, it was lighter that other tomato soups I have had in the past but the flavor profile was more intricate. For a main courses we had Lamb Vindalo, Chicken Madras, and some random vegetarian dish with 9 veggies, herbs, and fruit. Everything was better than any Indian I have had in the area. In addition, Freddi made some really good drinks that my wife loved! Not too sweet, refreshing, and light on the sour. I think next time we come we will take an Uber so we can try all the cocktails! Highly...

The food is ok, not great, not bad but acceptable. My issue is with service. We placed an order last Saturday 12/12 and arrived to pick it up on time (40 minutes) when we arrived at the drive through we were told our order was not ready, it would be about 15 more minute and we were asked to wait in the parking lot and our food would be brought out to us (no apologies for the delay) we did wait as requested in the rain and heard nothing for 30 minutes. I called for an update and was told again our order wasn't ready (still NO apologies were made) after 40 more minutes waiting in the rain in their parking on my BF's birthday they finally called and told us to come to the drive through again, our order was ready. They never brought our food to us, never updated us while we were waiting a significant amount more time than we were originally told but what bothered me the most was never once did we hear "hey sorry about the delay" I understand things happen but that is rude and unacceptable. If you like ok food and terrible service, this is the place for you. I wouldn't recommend and will never go back based on...
