Wendy's — Restaurant in Franklin

This review is more so about the business at this location and it's staff than it is the food. As far as the food is concerned it's your basic regular wendy's taste and quality. That is when you can actually get to order/get food. Through the drive thru of course because the dine in area/building is actually closed. And has been for months now. But don't worry, once you get up to the drive thru intercom to order, after waiting 15 mins because the line is almost always wrapped around the building, you'll be able to order. As long as it's after 11am of course because they've been closed for breakfast every day for the last month or so. But once you get up to there to order, if you're somehow still in a positive mood, that will certainly all change when your greeted by the drive thru attendent. That for some reason has decided to take their bad day out on the customers. Their bad day, that they seem to have every day. But once you order, pull up, pay and get your food handed to you by some of the rudest people that work in franklin, indiana and indiana as a whole. You'll regret that you didn't drive the extra 15-20 mins to the greenwood wendy's, where you won't have to deal with such negativity. They advertise on their sign that they're hiring smiling faces and people with positive attitudes but they seemed to have failed to do so with some of the new people they've hired. Good job...

This place seems to be suffering from a similar issue as most fast food places right now. Very few patrons are eating inside the restaurants so they are ill prepared for those that do. The service was discombobulated and struggled to work together to serve in a timely fashion. The drink station was not staged well and I had to search for straws. The place was clean enough but didn't feel like a place that I wanted to spend any extra time in. Update 12/18/22: They seem to be doing much better this time. The place was much cleaner and even busier. The food was a little slow but definitely good. The hot red head that seemed to be a manager was running a tight ship. At one point my tray was waiting on fries and she said to another employee, "stop running your mouth and finish this order." And the whole time she never stopped moving around the fryer area and prep area. Wendy's has definitely improved since the last time and I recommend this over McDonald's every day...

The dinning area look very clean, but could use a little more accents to make the area pop more. The food is great, however i was neglected to experience the new "peppercorn mushroom melt" in its completion. The first burger i ordered lacked the peppercorn aioli and as i got to the second bite, the burgers tasted ever so dry. I look closer at the burger and realized there was no melted cheese, no cheese at all. Soon realizing, I went up to the counter to point out there was no asiago cheese. They proceeded to make me another burger and the server shortly informed me that they do not have asiago cheese in their inventory. My son wanted onions on his cheese burger and they were even out in their inventory. It became concerning that they are not well stocked enough for the remaining 3.5 hours left of their open hours.
