If you haven’t been to Beef ’n Buns ’n Paradise yet, you are high key missing out. Located in Frederick, this gem is a must visit! They’ve been on my list for quite some time, and I finally went on my way up to Pittsburgh. Here’s everything I got: â–ȘCajun Bleu Burger (8 oz for $12.49): a HUGE burger dipped in hot sauce then topped with ham, fresh fries, LTO, and bleu cheese dressing. Over the top and so, so yum. Expect some seriously bold flavors. â–ȘNacho Dog ($7.99): I love hot dogs so much, and this one was absolutely delicious. It’s a juicy dog topped with nacho cheese sauce and jalapeños. The spice fiend in me wanted more jalapeños, but I thought this was so satisfying. I’d def get this again. â–ȘPeanut Butter Overdose ($8.59): this sundae was so, so yummy. Think vanilla ice cream topped with homemade peanut butter sauce, broken Reese cups and crushed peanuts in a waffle bowl. Absolute perfection, especially in this heat. You guys gotta try it! â–ȘBanana Malted Milkshake ($5.99 for a 16 oz): Anddd I got a shake, too, because my sweet tooth’s out of control, lol. A little on the sweet side, but I didn’t really mind. I finished all of it and loved the bits of banana inside. They have tons of fun flavors to choose from so I’ll be back for round 2. The egg custard is calling my name, lol. Additional notes📝 â–ȘIt’s a fast casual spot so there isn’t dine-in per se! Lots of tables outside though. â–ȘThey use local beef, and everything’s made to order â–ȘThey also offer sandwiches and subs if you prefer
but I say get a burger and hot dog if you go, lol. â–ȘHighly recommend calling ahead and picking up - I went during an off hour, and I still had to wait 25-30 minutes. Who’s been?!! And alsoooo, tell me about your favorite burger spots below, Nomsters ❀ I want to hear about *your* go-to spots 🙂 📍1201 E. TLDR: Old-school burger & dog stand with outdoor seating only. Food is delicious, prices are great, and it’s a perfect stop on a sunny day. Expect a wait at peak hours, but worth it. Beef ‘N Buns ‘N Paradise is one of those hidden gems that feels like summer. This fast casual burger and hot dog stand is walk-up only, with outdoor seating and a handful of parking spots (which fill up quickly during peak times). You order at the window from a huge menu and wait for your name to be called over the loudspeaker. We tried a few of their hot dogs, the Chicago Dog and the Chili Nacho Cheese Dog and both were awesome. The dogs were snappy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. We also grabbed the double patty melt, which was superlative. The patties were juicy, the rye bread was perfectly griddled, and the whole thing just hit. The onion rings deserve their own shoutout too, crispy, hand-breaded, and the perfect side item. And of course, we had to finish with dessert. We got vanilla soft serve cones with black cherry flavor burst on one and coffee on the other. Super tasty and the perfect ending. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. It’s exactly the kind of place you want to hit up on a sunny weekend or for a casual dinner after work.

This is my second time checking Beef 'n Buns 'n Paradise because my first experience was terrible. We went on a rainy afternoon so it was really nice to have the covered area to order and wait. The little area they have to order is adorable and the sassy tropical decorations reminded me of home (Florida) so it gets two thumbs up for the atmosphere. I got a Hawg Dog and my SO got a cheeseburger and fries. He was indifferent on his burger. It wasn't anything special and it cured his hunger. The fries were crispy but the flavor was a bit off. I'm not sure what oil they fry them in but it just didn't work for us and we ended up only eating less than half of them. My dog was tasty but I felt absolutely awful for the rest of the day and I didn't even finish! If you're looking to get really full really cheap this is the place. I would come back and try their ice cream products but that's about it.

When it comes down to it there really isn’t anything more timeless in the American restaurant landscape than the classic burger joint. No matter what tragedies befall the food industry, these iconic locations live on. Beef n Buns n Paradise is no exception to this phenomenon. For years this mom and pop burger shop has kept the hungry mouths of Frederick well fed, but just how well does it hold up to this day? Let’s dive in and find out! One thing I love about this place right off the bat is the decor and atmosphere. It’s almost as if this place was airlifted off of a coastal town in North Carolina and dropped right into the middle of Frederick. It’s old school with its window order, outdoor seating only layout yet the colorful, tropical decor takes you away to a place far from where you stand, I love it! Beyond the fun atmosphere, it’s the food that stands out the most. I ordered their signature “Mammoth Burger” with fries along with a cotton candy milkshake. WOW! Absolutely delicious all the way down to the last bite. The burger was cooked exactly how I asked and was so tender and juicy. A great side of fries that can stand above their competitors made great company with my burger. The star of this show really just may have been the milkshake. I’d go as far to say that Beef n Buns n Paradise? Best milkshakes in all of Frederick! Staff was friendly, parking was fine, all in all a fantastic experience! In an age where burgers have shifted into experimental territory like bacon infused buns and PB&J burgers; Beef n Buns proves that sometimes all you need is a mastery of the fundamentals. A great trip to a great establishment, I look forward to more visits in the years to come!

I am only giving this two stars because the onion rings were quite good and taste like they are truly homemade. Otherwise, less than one star would be warranted here. The food was greasy as heck and just plain ghastly and the service was incredibly surly. At the front counter, the person I ordered from kept pretending like she couldn’t hear me because I was wearing a mask and clearly that didn’t sit well with her in these quasi post-Covid times Also, literally, if you ask for a cup of water from the person who brings you your food to the outside door, you are told that you have to go back inside to the front counter and order it because once they have given you your food to eat outside, they apparently refuse to have anything else to do with you. And the grilled cheese sandwich, what a joke. The bread was really thick, and it seemed at first to be well-grilled, but when I opened it up, if they possibly had put one slice of cheese at all in there, it had mostly dissolved or oozed out when they griddled it because the majority of the sandwich was just bread with a couple of smears of orange grease. There literally was no cheese in the grilled cheese sandwich, but maybe if they actually started with more than one slice there might have been some left once they finished grilling it! I advise everyone to stay away from this place, unless you are really desperate while you are passing through Frederick Maryland, and nothing...
