Heavenly Wings — Restaurant in Frederick

I had never been to this place before and I usually like to try our new spots since I saw it had good reviews, I’m not sure if I had way too high of expectations but I’d like to share my general thoughts about the food I received, I got a regular chicken sandwich and some friends along with a piece of their chocolate cake, when I got there the person who handed me my order was very nice and they were also very nice over the phone, nothing work with the service. The food smelled good but the chicken tasted a little bland to me, there was a good amount of breading but it’s definitely was lacking flavor, the sauce on it didn’t taste like much to me, fried were a little on the bland side for me as well, however the food is not horrible, just lacking taste. The chocolate cake looked good however it tasted like it had been sitting out for a little bit and it was clear there was a lack of freshness. I think these are all small details the owner of this place could take a closer look at. Just some genuine advice...

The negative Nancy that gave a 1 star review, sounds like a plane Jane who ordered a plane Jane sandwich, got a plane Jane sandwich, then complained about it. ANYWAY, definitely the best wings we’ve had in the area. I love spicy wings, but the sauces are always watery and bright red. This sauce was thick, savory, and SPICY! It’s clear that the people leaving reviews (minus the 1 star negative Nancy) know how good wings should look and taste. Great little wing place on South Market street in Frederick. Walked in nice gentleman greeted me as I entered. Said that he would be right with me. My turn to order decided on 12 hot wings with fries at a very competitive price. The hot sauce that was put on the wings, stuck to the wings and did not runoff. They were hot, but tolerable. Wings were not overcooked and practically fell off the bone. I will go back and try one of their hotdogs as well, the other item on the menu.
