So I came here because the competition was too slow on drive thru not taking orders sequentially. While my order was taken promptly here my experience only went downhill from there.
Ordered a large combo received a medium. With a drink that looked like someone had taken a drink.
While this is forgivable the additional errors in combination were to many to ignore.
I received my order. Realized I didnt get my mcflurry. I received a plain burger which I didn't order a plain a burger.
So I had to walk in to have them correct it.
I simply requested if my order could be corrected as had not ordered plain and had not received mcflurry I showed receipt and handed the order to them.
When I received my order to my surprise it was fairly quick 3-5 min.
I wass so hungry I sat down and bit Into my order only to realize meat was not cooked properly.
I took a picture and believe manager approached after noticing took picture showed burger. She did offer to replace. Requested to cook to make it right. I simply mentioned to try to get the orders right the first time. I was too hungry to return it and was simply going to leave a review I told her. I'm not the type to be returning items and as unsatisfied as I was I was not a happy camper she was not making the situation any better as much as she was trying. She stated they were short staffed and that "sometimes it happens" the uncooked meat? . I mean after you make a mistake your goal should be to get it right. Yet you want another opportunity? That's exactly what I expressed. Few minutes later realized mcflurry was incorrect as it was not oreo.
After she brought the correct mcflurry she did try to make it up by providing some coupons even though had told her I was good didn't want anything or replacement of any sort simply to do better. After I was ready to leave simply passed along those coupons someone else can enjoy them.
Few years ago had a similar situation at this location however it was raw chicken in center. In that instance the manager stated that it had just been freshly cooked that it was not possible as if I had stated it was old or something. It was the manager. That instance which I was dumbfounded and simply requested a hamburger instead to not risk salmonella.
Being short staff is no excuse for less than satisfactory service. Being short staff is not an excuse for the multiple mistakes. Being short staff I could understand if I saw the staff being proactive but while inside everyone seemed very laid back not under any pressure or much effort for that...
Read moreWe moved to the area a year ago. When we've gone here we get drive through, park nearby n eat. There have been some pretty sharp young kids, prbly from Mead High who do a great job with orders and other adults too. Sometimes get people who are not experienced enough yet with orders. Generally the food has been ok, sometimes good. We have to park n wait for food when we customize and when its busy. Usually the workers delivering do a good job.
We have learned no matter what restaurant we do take out from to check everything bfr we leave or drive off, at least that they are correct items. Never call in or use app. Since businesses started taking orders on line in addition to walk in and drive through, reality is, its a lot to do and do right. Its hard to get swamped in orders from 3 streams.
Tonight we got drive through, right food n drinks. Sat in car to eat. Took a bite out of my Quarter Pounder and in overhead light saw that patty was very pink inside, undercooked, raw. First time happened to us. Was going to go back and take inside for replacement, but too much of a hassle. So...guess will need to open, pull off a piece and check it in future bfr drive off. Or, just lay off the fast food for awhile. Our local Subway is actually better...
Read moreI ordered 1 lg coke and 1 med coke with extra ice and a Lg order of fries dropped fresh. When I got to the window I asked the clerk if the fries were hot and dropped fresh. She exclaimed, well of course our fries are always hot and fresh. We left the window, I pulled into the parking space directly in front of me(hardly enough time for these HOT frys to get cold, right) WRONG..They were not hot and they were rubbery cold. My cokes were not full of ice. Believe me, I am not a complainer but this kinda ticked me off. So, I went back through the window and told the clerk very nicely the frys were cold and rubbery and my cokes were not full of ice. She proceeded to tell me that the ice machine is only set to fill it half full. So I asked her if she would please take ice out of the bin and fill them or hit the button twice. Needless to say I received attitude and decided it wasn't worth upsetting me so we left. If you can avoid this McDonalds there is one before this one and many after. I realize everyone has good and bad days but even the manager was uncaring. I just wanted 2 cokes Xtra ice and a lg freshly...
