We came for lunch Saturday afternoon at noon. We were actually the only customers there. We used to love going to Plaza, but hadn’t been back in a while due to previous experiences. We gave it another go this past weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with the phenomenal service we had Jose was our server and made our drinks. I ordered a strawberry marg and my husband ordered a spicy raspberry marg. They were very strong margaritas and delicious. He couldn’t stop raving about his in particular. I loved that they use fresh lime juice and not sour mix. We started by ordering chips and queso for an appetizer, it came hot and had the perfect mix of flavor and spice. For entrées, I ordered the chicken tacos and asked for shredded cheese added. My husband got the steak tacos. Their meat portion has definitely slimmed down for the tacos. However, they have revamped their menus and now include the prices of drinks, which is nice. We would probably come back for happy hour, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a full meal.

A Flavorful and Lively Spot Plaza Mexico Restaurant offers a great ambiance, and lively surroundings make it a fun place to enjoy Mexican cuisine. The menu has a variety of flavorful options, with some standout items. The Jalapeño Margarita is a must-try—spicy, bold, and a great way to kick off the meal. The Carne Asada Fries were delicious, though they are quite filling. However, the Carne Asada itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. For a vegetarian option, the Enchiladas de Espinacas were absolutely delicious—well-seasoned and satisfying. Service was okay—staff was friendly but not overly attentive. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Despite some minor issues, I recommend this place for its atmosphere, drinks, and certain dishes. I’ll definitely return to explore more of the menu!

Unfortunately this was not a great experience, although, we liked it in the past. Ordered the wings and they were good, although, very small. We then ordered a Ribeye and Chicken combo meal and the Grande Burrito. The Steak was tasteless, the Chicken was good. Asked to have ground beef rather than steak in the Burrito and that was a mistake. It was so salty, I could not eat it. My husband tried to eat it, but gave up after a few bites. We wanted to order dessert, but competed with the Barcelona vs Madrid game for our waiters attention...the game won and after 15 minutes of waiting to order it. We gave up and asked for the check.

First time ever dining at this restaurant. Went on a Saturday and had a short wait time of 25min before being seated. Unfortunately, our table felt like an afterthought. We were seated and given menus 10min after being seated. No chips, dips, or water until another 10min. After being given the menus our drinks took longer to show. When we ordered we only ordered appetizers which also took another 25min+ to be given. We then ordered supreme nachos and waited over an hour until we decided to go in and just have it to go. We paid over $110 and when we got home the "supreme nachos" where just chips, chicken, lettuce, and a single half slice of tomato. Nothing else was on them. We ordered 2 and both were so plain, dry, and disgusting. Over an hour wait for some stale chips, chicken, and lettuce. Everyone else around us got their MEALS first, drinks, ect. More than likely will not dine here again due to the lack of professionalism. Clearly if you can't handle an influx of clients - you shouldn't overseat and clearly need to hire more people. Your staff was clearly overworked and could not handle the service inside and outside. All we got was, "sorry it's just so busy inside." After getting a nasty attitude from the server. French fries on steak fries tasted like it came out of a bag and just refried. The sampler chimichanga tasted manufactured and the jalapeno poppers might as well been from a frozen box of TGIF poppers. I've been to Fajita Grande and they offer better service, better food, and at a fair price. If you want fast processed Mexican food I'd recommend this place...

This place has the same staff it’s always had. They’ve gone through 3 name last in the past 3 years. It’s just not working. I ordered a margarita today and received green sugar water. There was no lime flavor, no tequila. I ordered a cheese Chile rellano and a chicken enchilada. My girlfriend ordered a cheese Chile rellano and a cheese tamale. They brought us beef chile s on one plate and placed a chicken enchilada and tamale on the other. I tried to tell the waiter that I think we got someone else’s order and before I could say another word. He grabbed the plates and ran to the back. 1 minute later he came back and he simply moved one chile rellano on to the other plate and the tamale on to the other. I told him, no these are beef chile rellanos we ordered cheese. He took the plates back and 15 minutes later we got our order. The chile rellanos are not traditional. These were roasted poblanos with cheese and green enchilada sauce. Typically Chile rellanos are stuffed with cheese and have an egg flour mixture on the outside and fried till crispy. The tamale and the enchilada were good. This place is mediocre when it had the other names and it is still mediocre with the new name. The worst part is that there are so many good Mexican restaurants nearby that it just feels like a waste to have such a nice location occupied by...

My wife and I visited on a Friday night. It was a somewhat subdued atmosphere, but then again it is a suburban location.

We were promptly greeted and seated and given a big bowl of warm tortilla chips with salsa by our server. The salsa is tasty but is a little on the spicy side so we dipped sparingly!

I ordered the steak fajitas and my wife ordered the chicken chimichangas. Both meals came with a big side plate of rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. All of these sides were very tasty, some of the best I have had. My wife said that her chimichangas were excellent, and my fajitas came out sizzling. The steak, onions, and peppers were absolutely delicious. My only complaint (as ever with any restaurant that serves fajitas) is that I received only 3 tortillas when I would have liked 4 or even 5. The three I made were absolutely stuffed full with the steak, peppers, onions, guacamole, and sour cream, so weren't the easiest to hold and eat (although I managed!). Still not enough of an issue to give anything but full marks for the food.

Our server Jorge did a great job checking on us throughout our stay. I've read many reviews complaining about service so was a little concerned, but thankfully we needn't have been. Overall a delicious and enjoyable dining experience, we highly...
