Ledo Pizza Frederick, MD - Riverbend Way — Restaurant in Frederick

This place is disgusting. I ordered a pizza here tonight and it was undercooked. When I went to pick it up the guy cooking the pizza snapped at the cashier who asked for them to run the pizza through longer saying it was going to ruin the pizza. I asked for his name because I didn’t like his horrible attitude or disgusting commentary he made to the kitchen staff after I was still at the counter and they were bad mouthing me. He then turned around and said you can call and tel who ever you want I don’t care. I walked back in to get the menu with the phone number so I could call back and try to speak with the owner who I later found out from the kids working the front that it wasn’t him even though he said this was his Ledos. He’s at the counter talking bad about me again. I then told him he was incredibly unprofessional and he lost a customer and multiple more I would have sent this way because of his poor behavior. His response was what I would have expected from his uneducated self, “well whatever we're up 12 grand in Revenue in the last month so don’t care. You can go elsewhere.” His comments were appalling and the fact that he asked “well you’ve never worked in a kitchen so what would you know?”... hmm but I have. I’ve been an ops manager and worked in the restaurant industry for close to 10 years I know all about how to cook a pizza and how to act professionally and that was a clear example how NOT to. I’m going to reach out to Ledos corporate office but I’m also going to make sure I tell everyone I know in Frederick and elsewhere to never come here. I wish I had asked for my money back because this establishment didn’t deserve a single penny of mine or anyone else’s for that matter. It’s crazy how the quality of Ledos locations vary by where they are, and typical Frederick it’s ran by imbeciles who don’t know a single thing about how to...

This place rocks! I go a ways.....like to the original in Adelphi.

Only talking pizza here, but this is nearly as good as the original. In general, their Ledo specializes is a buttery, crisp crust with a slightly sweet sauce. They are also known for their pre-cooked bacon.

We have a standard, pre-cooked bacon, onions, green peppers and mushrooms, well done. Sometimes we'll do a half and half or something, but that's our standard.

This staff does it right. It's a franchise and it shouldn't surprise anyone that some are better than others. Here, the pizza's seem to be better by a notch.

Carry out has been our deal lately. When you order online and request a time......you're pizza is right there, fresh out of the oven. That's how we've found it. And it means something, rather than picking up a pizza that's sat around for half an hour.

To me, it comes down to a matter of caring, and training. I give the employees credit for that. Good job. It is appreciated.

P.S. Follow up. I got there for carry-out right when our pizza was done. Picked it up and it was cold. I wasn't happy and went into complain. SMH, I must have clicked the button next to the one I wanted. Okay. My bad. (Apologies to staff for the initial complaint.) But here's the deal. We got it home, through it into the oven @500 for 4 minutes to heat it up. Just wow. Amazingness came out. Even though the pizza sat around for 15 minutes, you simply couldn't tell. And I don't say that lightly. These guys turned out a pizza, let it set for 15 minutes, the pizza didn't miss a beat. It is still better than some other Ledo's put out fresh out the oven. If you like Ledo pizza.....I'm a fan...

3/01/24, 5:40 pm we came in, got seated right away, got our menus, drinks and order in, all right away, all is good. Well that’s where it all ended. We waited and watch 2 families order and receive their meals that came in 5 - 10 minutes after us before we even got our appetizer, ok it happens. It was getting busy and it happens. Our server never came back once to refill drinks or even check up on us before or after us getting our appetizer. They finally bring our food out 1 at a time but except for of one orders. We say something to our server and he proceeds to tell us that they missed our order even though it was on the ticket. He said that he would push the order though asap……yeah 20 mins later still no order. There was a large group that came in 20 minutes after us that took all the attention of the staff but the doesn’t explain why we waited on our food for so long and why we had such a lack of service even before then. There was even a gentlemen and his 2 kids that sat down shortly after us that never even got menus until after 20 mins of sitting and then calling out to one of the servers. So after waiting a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes and not getting all of our food, I went and expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager. I pointed out to her at everyone that have been waiting patiently for service that her staff seem to have forgotten about because of this large group that came in. She did apologize, remove the meal we never gotten and probably gave us discount. Ledos staff really dropped the ball this evening.
