UPDATED REVIEW-- I actually got on to update my review because of how disappointed I am with Taco Time. If you can see my old review below this one, I was a huge fan, but everything I liked has changed. The tacos are about 25% smaller, about the same size as a Taco Bell taco now, but you pay about 50% more. The tomato on both my tacos was mushy, in the old nearly expired tomato way, so goodbye being "fresh". They no longer allow you to order dipping sides on their app. We also had a soft taco, another favorite, and it seemed to be the same, so why the new stingy tiny tacos?
We used to have around 50$ in credit on their app from gift cards, but it appears they switched to a new system over the year we stopped going, because my account seems to think it's new again and missing all it's credit/points. If you like to order online like we do, beware. OLD REVIEW--
I love this Taco Time, its as fresh and great as advertised. Eating at places like Taco Bell will often lead to a stomach ache, while I have never had this issue at Taco Time. Service is always friendly, and its nice to have a fast food joint that still delivers the food to your table.
Taco Time may seem more expensive than Taco Bell, but really you get a lot of food compared to Taco Bell. For instance their tacos are nearly twice as big and they are filled with a LOT of meat, while taco bell is tiny, barely filled, and only 70 cents less. Not to mention Taco Time sauces are free, and that includes sour cream. Think about that next time Taco Bell charges you an extra 50...
Read moreTaco Time is my favorite fast food and anytime food. What I don't like is rude, hurried and being cut off. I'm in customer service and you do what you can to make sure your customer has the best service and returns. May not return! Seriously! Some customer service it should be taken. Not everyone is customer service people and should be on a trial basis. This girl will lose you customers. I put on a Happy face and wear a Happy attitude as soon as I wait on my first customer of the day and make sure they know am here to make their day and experience pleasant and let them know I can't wait to help them on their next visit and the next and next. You will always have my fill attention. Welcome and thank you and hope to see you again. And have a great day. Oh and by the way I was given the wrong food. Ordered a beef soft taco and got a chicken burrito. I don't eat chicken. I paid $13.00 for a meal I did not order. Why don't we double check before we give it to the customer and make sure they are getting what they ordered. You get paid to do these things. I shouldn't have to dig through my bag to see if you did...
Read moreInstead of training your employees to be polite verbally, and repeating the order 2-3 times (besides also showing it in writing on a screen), why don't you train them instead to match the food that they are handing to the customer, to what is on their screen? It's MUCH more important to me to have them prepare and serve me the correct order, than just verbalize what I ordered correctly 3 different times, and then actually give me the wrong food and/or not give me something that I ordered and paid for. If you trained every employee to spend 15 seconds double checking the order on the screen with what they are handing to the customer at the last point of the transaction, this would NEVER happen again. That's how easy that problem is to solve. Am I the only one that sees how easy this could be...
