Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Freehold Township

upon multiple unsatisfied visits to this chick-fil-a location, I am sad to say it's so worth the extra 10 min. drive to the freehold mall location. employee kelvin g. took our order, and the whole order was messed up - iced tea with zero ice and wrong size as it was a meal, requested a gf bun and got a non-gf bun after confirming twice as it was for an allergy, no toppings on grilled chicken sandwich which were an extra charge. after politely confronting kelvin, i had to wait 10 more minutes until i finally saw a manager walk by and approached him in regards to the mistakes. he wronged the mistakes of the order, but was extremely rude and proceeded to march out of the store after dealing with the situation. during our visiting we spoke with 3 other groups whose orders were also messed up. i totally understand that some restaurants are short-staffed but they had more than a dozen employees in the facility, half of which were standing around chit-chatting. unsure if it is poorly managed, or the employees need more training, but this locations needs to clean up its act fast. especially in regards to customers with allergies!

This is my revised review! Right after I wrote my 1st review, I was surprised by a phone call from the store manager the next day! She was so so nice and apologized countless times. She reassured me that this should never have happened, & that the employee would be retrained or fired. She also added a few freebies to my online account to entice us to return & give another try... which we did, and it was fantastic. Every employee from start to finish were friendly & upbeat. Our food was hot, fresh, & delicious.. & my faith in Chick-fil-A is restored♡♡♡♡ (thank God too because it's the ONLY fast food I'll eat, other than doritos tacos at taco bel lol)

This was my original review: Food was good, but as I was receiving my food thru the take out area, the heavyset ungrateful guy who was taking the orders says, very loudly, "OMG DONT THESE PEOPLE EVER COOK DINNER AT HOME?!" ...I really wanted to say to him, 'if we did, then you wouldn't have a job!' But instead, I just stared at him & shook my head. This was my 1st time going to this facility & I'm really disappointed. The girl who handed me my food was very friendly... but that guy...

I eat at Chick-fil-a often, and am i very happy with the food at other locations. I have now given this location 3 tries, since the day it opened and it has the worst quality of food. In the beginning, i gave them a break, thinking it was a new location working out the kinks, but they have now been open way too long for sub part quality. My chicken was soggy, lettuce looked 2 weeks old. Asked for no whipped cream on shakes but, they put it on anyway, and when they noticed right in front of me, they tried to hide the person snooping it off into the garbage with a dirty top. They forgot to put sauce in the bag for the wrap and basically missed putting chicken on it also with 3 little pieces. There's nothing like paying for a dry bread wrap! Fries cold and soggy. Called the store, and no one answered. I left a message 2 days ago, and there is still no call back. Called corporate, and they assured me they would speak to the store and someone would get back to me yesterday, no call. Guessing they got the answering...
