YB Eatery — Restaurant in Freehold

I have been a patron of YB since they opened in Freehold. Was a huge fan of their homemade soups. Even leaving great tips when they delivered right up the street. Their prices have increased drastically. Today, viewed their specials and was dying for a breakfast sandwich. They advertised a fantastic croissandwich, eggs,cheese,bacon,on a scrumptious croissant. They no longer deliver (apparently can't hold on to staff for delivery) so made an arrangement to pick up. Upon placing my order.."just like the photo"..i said..I was promptly told that the photo was not representative of what I ordered..the special at $5.95 did NOT include the bacon and the charge if I wanted bacon increased the sandwich to over $8.00. For a breakfast sandwich..really. when I questioned the price and said that it was ridiculous..the person that I used to tip very generously began arguing with me..when I relented and said ok 2 with bacon..she asked "you want the bacon"? I replied " yes 2 with the bacon" she then told me she didn't have to take that from me and I can order elsewhere then hung up on me. I ordered elsewhere and will not return. Customer service? ...

What happened to this place?! I used to order from here all the time and loved it. It’s been a while since but man, has the quality has gone down hill. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the eggs were not how I ordered w/ no cheese (even though I paid for it) and fries were reheated stale fries that were inedible. I ended up throwing out half the sandwich and most of the fries. Special hot dog was ok. Cinnamon bun at least was still as good as I remember. Such a shame though. I order from here at least or twice a week. The food is so fresh and delicious- I’ve never had a bad meal!! My favorite is her homemade soups which have been keeping me alive this winter!! Such creative and delicious flavors. I also highly recommend the chopt salad. Perfect combo of textures and flavors. Every time I make a specific request or modify my order- they get it right! The staff is also warm and friendly and I love that it gives you that local neighborhood feel. I always recommend this place when people ask for a solid breakfast and lunch spot. I hope they stay around forever!! Def a...
