I’ve never shared a review like this about a restaurant- as a precursor, I’ve worked in restaurants myself for years and I know stuff happens. This was unequivocally the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza, as I do at every pizza place. It had bbq sauce in place of marinara, which was not stated on the menu (bbq sauce was listed alongside toppings, not as a base). This would not have bothered me if it were in the description- I just would’ve altered my order. It was extremely saucy as well. However, none of this would’ve been enough for me to post a review- the pizza tasted rancid. Myself and two friends tried the pizza- it tasted rotten. I assume it was expired caramelized onions. When I asked for a remake I was denied, and my friend had to fight for me to receive a refund. I only ate two pieces of crust from the whole pizza because I couldn’t bring myself to eat more than a bite of the rest. Again, stuff happens, but the staff’s unwillingness to help left a worse taste in my mouth. The cashier just kept arguing that the ingredients were listed (again, did not list bbq sauce as the primary pizza sauce) and did not address the fact that the pizza tasted rancid. Myself friend must’ve gone back and forth with her for a refund for five minutes. Abysmal service, awful...

This place has all the makings of a quintessential locals spot, but the biggest obstacle preventing that is they have bratty children working there who find scooping ice cream to be the worlds most difficult job. The dweeb who was struggling to manage the few customers in line for ice cream was so flustered that he couldn’t muster up the slightest bit of customer service or professionalism when asked a simple question. He then went and complained about how hard his life was to the other toddlers working there, right in front of other customers. When I called him out for acting like a baby, he ran off pouting in the corner while his sad excuse for a manager gave every excuse under the sun justifying their employee’s behavior.

I can’t imagine what life is going to be like for these kids when they actually have to get real jobs, jobs that require they count higher than twenty so they can’t use their fingers and toes. This shop may have been great under the previous five or six generations of ownership but sadly this generation that currently runs it is going to run it...

This place is great, but PICK UP DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE DOOR DASH'S TERRIBLE SERVICE. Door Dash adds a 25% surcharge. On top of that we ordered $129 worth of subs at 8pm last night. Door Dash didn't send them the order. The 9 people that were here waiting to eat and starving to death found out we weren't being fed at all because they closed. I called at 9:15 (after Derosier's closed) and they told us we didn't get the order. Door Dash lied to us and said they ordered the food. Bottom line is everything around here closes at 9pm and that sucked for us. We ordered at 8, plenty of time and everyone went home hungry. Was really embarrassing. I'm taking the 2 stars off Derosier's because they should vet the services they use better than that. I've been ordering $100 orders from them weekly (sometimes multiple times). We literally just ordered one today (which we will be picking up in person). Drop Door Dash they...

Had lunch here on a roadtrip. Ordered the Lobster Roll. Voted best Lobster Roll for 2016, 2017 and 2018. Mine did not disappoint! Family run business with rich history in the area serving people for 115 years. Besides the Lobster Rolls Derosier's also serves Italian subs, pizza and ice cream! Several of my friends got the pizza and said it was delicious! Derosier's is a small place with a limited amount of booths to sit down and eat. Most people came during lunch and ordered their food to go. Their business is located on the street so parking is somewhat limited. Service was quick and everyone was so friendly. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

How had I never been to this hole-in-the-wall restaurant turned gem? The food exceeded my expectations. Perfect spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Pizza slides to go. The outdoor sidewalk eating area in the shade provided a relaxed and comfortable ambiance. Variety of beers, wine, ciders and non-alcoholic beverages. Top off your visit with some ice cream. Walking distance to everything in Freeport.

The building isn't anything fancy but wow - the food is fabulous! We ordered from the pizza menu, the salad menu, and the sub menu. Everyone in my family said the food was fab! There were people coming in the whole time we were there waiting for the food (which wasn't a long wait!) Obviously this is a popular place. Great for families - prices were reasonable, and the portions were large.
