Galena Supermarket and Restaurant — Restaurant in Freeport

Restaurant gave me the completely wrong order and unfortunately I didn’t realize it until I got home. When I tried to get my correct order they asked me to return the opened food because otherwise how would they know I was telling the truth, and I just wanted to do it to get a free burrito. The owner -a Dominican belligerent individual - told me it was my problem, and ‘why don’t I just eat the burrito?!’. Then they were upset because of the way that I asked them to get my correct order after telling them I wasn’t gonna bring back that food. They were more worried about the way I talked to them than righting their wrong. I showed them a picture of the food I received. On top of returning the food being unsanitary, I had to drive over to pick up my food AGAIN, waste my time and gas and they are so worried about me getting a free $7 burrito. I wasn’t even asking for my money back. These people are unbelievable. Worst customer service ever. Will not be coming back. Try ordering from the new restaurant “La Patrona” here in Freeport. $40 is not worth the quality of the food or the quantity. You guys raised prices and lowered quality and quantity of the food.

disappointed. This used to be our spot for authentic good quality tacos. This isn't the case anymore. Somehow PRICES went UP and QUALITY went DOWN. Today I bought 8 tacos, order of beans, order of rice and a piece of THRES LECHE CAKE. Carnita tacos where all fat. Every bite was big chuncks of straight fat. The steak tacos were a little better but the flavor was not there. The rice and beans were about the same but quantity was very small for price. The THRES LECHE (3 MILK 🥛) CAKE WAS DRY and MISSING TOP FROSTING ON HALF THE TOP OF THE CAKE. ITS THRES LECHE CAKE, THERE SHOULD BE LIQUID SOAKED UP IN THE CAKE MAKING IT MOIST.
