Nine East Coffee — Restaurant in Freeport

When this coffee shop first opened years ago it was very nice, pleasant owner, atmosphere and food. Unfortunately when I tried it the other week it was completely different. The food was poor and the service was worse. They had nothing left on the menu so we ended up getting what they had available but really we should have left. We ended up hacing to leave instead of eating at our table because it was so smokey our eyes burned and it was overwhelmingly hot. I did a DD order and chose the daily special not knowing what it would be, sadly it was out of stock so they made me a panini, which I also have no idea what it was but it was damn good! If y'all don't have it on your menu you should! I'm very pleased that I took a chance and got a delicious meal! I got my toddler the veggie quiche and he ate almost all of it so I would say it was good, same with the strawberry smoothie he stole from me and slurped down.
