Freeport Public Library — Attraction in Freeport

Great library! I stopped in as an out-of-towner between work meetings. They have an organic-centered and sustainable cafe in the lobby. As a sustainable cafe they ask that you bring your own to-go cups or stay to enjoy your beverages. I had a wonderful brown sugar and vanilla latte with cold foam and chickpea salad on naan and everything was scrumptious. I highly recommend stopping by and supporting the locally sourced cafe. I would place no stars if I could. I made a 10 minute call a few days ago to prepare for a walk to get a new card. Over the phone I was told to come in person, that my son didn't need to be there. My daughter and I walked 2 hours. 4 miles round trip for a 5 year old. We went prepared and was denied what we called and prepared for because my son had to be present. Worst experience ever walking my toddler 4 miles for absolutely no reason. I...

I have taken great nephews to explore. It's wonderful to see their expressions when they try to grasp that they could borrow any of these books!

The meeting rooms are very handy (and impressive for your guests).

I like to try new movies for free and audio CDs of book for long road trips or commutes.
