Update: 9/1/21 Everything seems to be almost back to normal. Pretty much a full house on a Wednesday lunch sitting. AC was on for a comfort hot pot dining. Last I came here was still only done in outside. The inside dining made the difference. The interior settings at this place is better than the one in San Jose. However, the hotpot presentation was off compare to the San Jose location. Not sure is it because it's cold due to the AC. The hotpot come pre heated (as its steaming when it arrive) and also they hard boil the egg already (I prefer it raw and lit it heat up from the flame as it should be). Taste is still as good and in par.
1/2021 Out doors only. They have a few make shift tables in front of their entrance where it was a walkway in normal times. Food still taste good. However, some improvement can be made. 1.The spicy oil sauce is missing the condiments and just plain oil. The stuff that goes with it is good too. Need some of that stuff. I order the lamb that usually have some vermicelli. This came will 5 or 6 strands. Seems got shafted. The sour cabbage is little too. Like a small spoon dab of it. Drink is cool and not cold. No ice in it. Yes, it's cold outside, but still drinks need to have ice as the ice cold feeling is what part of the experience.
Overall: still good, however if this is the way serve it, I rather go down to their other location san jose.
Tips: Make sure you wear some clothes and a jacket. It's cold outside. I normally don't require the full burner, but today, it's the only thing that keeps me warm and the food...

This was our first visit to Boiling Point, and while the food was enjoyable, the overall experience could have been better.
We were seated right away, which was great. However, we unknowingly chose a wobbly, broken table. Since it was our first time, we expected the staff to guide us through the ordering process or provide a brief introduction. Unfortunately, no one explained that we needed to scan a QR code to access the menu, which led to some initial confusion.
One thing I noticed was that the customer service was lackluster. It would have been helpful if the staff had been more proactive in explaining how the process worked, especially for first-time diners. Additionally, I didn’t like that we had to wait for staff to come and turn off the fire for our pots. At other similar restaurants, customers are usually given control over the heat, which makes the experience more convenient.
Overall, the food is good, and I would recommend this place if you’re simply looking for a meal. However, don’t expect attentive service or a welcoming vibe. The staff only came by when we specifically asked for something, and the atmosphere was...
Read moreThis location is not as good as the Berryessa location that recently opened but my impressions are pretty much the same. The portions here are smaller, you will receive a shallow individual hot pot that is kept at a boiling point (the soup will be kept at a boiling temperature). The problem with this is that the food is kept at a consistently high temperature that requires you to spend the majority of your time blowing on your food to bring it down to a more edible temperature. Before you realize it, you are no longer hungry despite not having eaten much because you lose your hunger sitting around blowing on your food. Eat more quickly and you risk cooking your tongue as you eat your meal. The entire experience made me very hangry. It doesn’t matter what flavor of hot pot you select, the predominant ingredient in each hot pot is napa cabbage. Expect the entire bottom portion of your boiling point hot pot under the meat or seafood to be all cabbage filler. After leaving, your stomach might end up like mine after visiting here: not full nor satisfied but instead a churning and burning sensation from all the spicy chili oil they put in the hot pot (you can order non-spicy). Overall, a...
