We had our engagement party chartered with live dosa vada idly madras coffee.
Their team is amazing. You just have to make sure that. You have full communication with them. Make sure what they’re bringing when they’re catering plates lights cups for coffee. Just need to make sure you have everything because they only bring the food and that’s it.
As far as the food goes, they made the best dosa there is in the entire Bay Area. The potatoes in the dosa tasted so good. They’re chutney was amazing as well. I mean, I cannot speak enough about the quality of the food. The quality of the food is far the best I ever had from any of place here at least in the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Samber was really flavorful. Vera was amazing. It was very fluffy and not thick.
Every guest enjoyed dosa Italy, and Vera. We actually had different style of foods going on. We had a Punjabi food We had Madras food. We had Gujarati food at the same time. Everybody went for live dosa because it looked so good that your mouth watered while they were cooking it .
We had a lot of people that were vegetarian in our party, and I think they fell that we went an extra mile to take care of the Aryans because all vegetarian people love dosa and this dosa was amazing. I will definitely be using them...
Read moreI recently ordered catering from Dosa Biryanizz and had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes. I ordered a total of 11 items and every item tasted good. Fish pakora and Chicken chintamani had a perfect balance of crisp and mild spicy flavor -- kids enjoyed both. Punugulu and Babycorn manchurian were appealing to vegetarians. For main course, I ordered mutton curry and chicken biryani (Hyd style) and it was flavorful with perfect blend of spices and lots of chicken pieces. For vegetarians I ordered Paneer curry, eggplant masala, veg pulao and butter naan. The naan was soft and complimented well with the curries. Shahi Tukda was a great dessert option. Overall, all guests have enjoyed the food and complimented about the selection and taste. None of the items were greasy and the quantity was ample for the guest size, and even left us with some food for next meal. Chaitanya (owner) helped me pick the menu, walked me through the pricing and options, and even provided the chafing dishes and serving spoons at a minimal cost on top of their competitive pricing for food.
I definitely recommend them for catering orders and will go with them again for my future...
Read moreProbably the worst Indian Buffet experience in the Bay Area ever! We tried the buffet lunch over the weekend and the overall quality or food, variety of food, quality of service and management has deteriorated many levels as compared to what this place used to offer earlier under the brand name and management "Peacock"
The lunch earlier used to offer, atleast one of the South-Indian staples like, idli, wada or appam appam along with Sambhar, rasam sides. Now you only have plain steamed rice for - no idli, wada or appam. Biryani was clearly a day old and dry as hell. Raita was very watery. There was no paneer in the paneer dish and similarly the mixed veg kurma looked like it was a mix of all left overs. Most of the serving bowls were empty in first 15 mins of us entering the restaurant and were not refilled for good 20 mins. Forget the food, its rare that a buffet table runs out of plates and people stand in a queue waiting for cleaned/fresh plates for 10 mins
Definitely not recommended - waste of money. Better choose one of the umpteen other Indian restaurants in the East Bay for a better experience...
