Straw Hat Pizza — Restaurant in Fremont

Got a lunch special. $15.99 for a can of soda and a small 2 topping. The pizza was decent. I got mushroom and black olives. I have to say I liked the crispy crust but the sauce was a bit too heavy for my liking. Took a bit of time to come out but I guess that's because they had 4 pizzas to make. It's touted as California style pizza so being from the East Coast maybe it's just a change. Ate there with 3 other people and we all said it was "ok". So neither good nor bad. Kind of a smaller place. Bathroom was "out of order" according to the sign. I thought it might be related to the anime but was disappointed...

Their pizza is the best around this area! It doesn’t help that I work 5 mins away from this location and have been here 2 days in a row 😂 I’m assuming this is the owner, but Dill is so nice and he even remembered me from yesterday. I appreciate it when owners/employees remember customers who come often. It makes me feel that they take pride in their business and make the effort to show their appreciation for their customers. I generally try to buy from local businesses when out on a job for the crew and tried to order from these guys since they seemed good but never got to taste it. I was trying to get pricing info on one pizza and was told we don’t deliver one pizza and only $100 minimum in a very hostile attitude.
