This mexican restaurant & their delicious food get my A+, 5 stars rating all day long!!! Yeah... highly, highly recommend!! I've been going to this restaurant for years because of the food and the warm comfortable inviting vibe like you're visiting a family members home. Easy to the ear background music all year round. Today my friend & I enjoyed classic Christmas music for lunch & seated next to the Christmas Tree which made it much more special before our Xmas shopping outing! Outside patio is also a fantastic option which is breezy in the summer & warm & comfortable under the heat lamps in the colder season. My favorite item in the menu here is their chicken mole with rice & warm tortillas. You get perfectly toasted warm chips & salsa before taking your order. My friend loves the enchiladas & burritos here. Oh & their steak or chicken fajita salads here are bomb!!! Must try! Sooooo sooo good! Saving the best treat for last are their Margaritas! Their Peach Margaritas are my favorite here in the city! Today we tried their Strawberry Lemonade and it didn't disappoint. Yummy! Left...
Read moreMediocre Mexican-American food. First time trying and I definitely wasted a cheat meal on this. Yelp was no help in this case. Definitely overpriced. My Antonio's Special burrito LOOKED amazing but lacked any flavor and the stringy yet fatty meat in the Chile Verde made me gag. The chorizo bean dip tasted okay but needed cheese or garnish or something to make it more appetizing. They add some kind of "taco" seasoning to their chips that was WAY too salty and the salsa lacked flavor. They appear to serve a mostly older clientele so my daughter, who loves tamales but didn't even finish her overpriced tamale plate, said maybe the clientele is why the food was so bland. Someone next to us took advantage of the happy hour street taco place and it looked delicious but something tells me it lacked flavor. Bathrooms were pretty dirty on a Saturday at 3pm. Service was good but overall, Antonio's is a...
Read moreI ordered take out on a Saturday night and I noticed the bar tender seemed irritated and disconnected I ordered a three item combo and when I got home I noticed one of the items were missing. I like this restaurant so I came back on Monday to eat again and told the bartender so they got the manager which happens to be the owners son he told me because I didn't call back Saturday night that he couldn't make good on the missing item. I guess they don't care for there customers not even as a $3. tostada he had a I don't care what you think attitude it's too bad, the food is decent but the service and morale of the employees is awful. I own my own business and I know what good service is and that it comes from the top . The bartender apologized for what the owners son did, Oh well no sweat there's a lot of good Mexican restaurants in Fresno I will not give my business to...
